I love my Embody. I sit in my chair for like 12 hours a day some days, never once have i felt like i have had a sore back afterwards. I also used to get a sore back after standing for long periods, but that has pretty much stopped also after getting my embody.
Wow! That's huge! My Embody has been one of the best investments I've ever made. The Aeron being added to the lineup is even better for a hunchback degen like me. 🤣
The Sayl is my favorite after trying so many ergo chairs. Specifically, I prefer the original gaming Sayl chair that could drop an extra half inch lower than the current Sayls. I had the Aeron for work a few years ago, but of course my company didn’t buy the small version so it wasn’t very ergonomic for the short person that I am. I also don’t prefer the mesh seat and my long hair always got caught in between the mesh and plastic. The embody isn’t short person friendly so I never considered it. “Short person friendly” = my feet flat on the floor without a footrest. I’d own a dining room table full of Sayls if I could. lol Great video on one of my favorite brands!
Ah! So great to hear your experience and preferences. That's certainly helpful for others. I didn't think about the long hair part, so that's super helpful. I love the Sayl's design. It's so cool!
Good review. Could you help me find out some nuances? My brother and I want to buy such a chair (sayl). Did you buy a standard chair? Have you bought any features? What functions can you do without, and which are worth paying for?
It’s a firm cushion, but soft enough to mold and support your body. It’s been over a year of daily use and the cushion feels just as supportive as when I first got it. No sagging or losing its shape yet.
Similar to you, I have also experienced back and posture issues and regularly see chiropractors (I am 6’6). I was really hesitant to invest so much into a chair, but I genuinely have loved the Aeron and have had it for several years now, and can say I have no regrets! Great video comparing the different options offered by Herman Miller!
I currently have SI joint issues and i have an embody but im not sure its for me. I find it very uncomfortable on bottom as its quite hard. I am a slim guy so do have a bony bum lol. This in turn puts pressure on my lower back and cant sit in this chair for to long. How is the Aeron ?
I also had SI joint issues. I haven’t tried the embody so I don’t know exactly how it compares to the Aeron, but the aeron (in my experience) has been very comfortable for me and I haven’t had issues sitting down for several hours at a time
Thanks for sharing your experience! Glad you enjoyed the video! Musichead, maybe the Aeron is the choice. It’s a bit more opinionated and structured in terms of its shape, which can be good for that.
Thank you for your answer I respect you I appreciate you please tell me which one has better sound quality and more accurate sound samsung galaxy buds fe vs nothing ear thank you
It has an additional layer of foam and copper-infused cooling foam to prevent heat buildup. It's totally designed to sit on for a LONG time. I find that the normal Embody is quieter though based on its material. The Gaming material can rub against the pixel design and squeak, but if you're not moving around a ton or care about that, it's not that big of a deal.
NONE of these high-end designer chairs help with lumbar-associated back pain. The only real alternative to sitting and back pain is a zero gravity recliner, and then it becomes difficult to work on the computer.
I had my Aeron chair since 2007, it's still basically like new. While at the time it stung to pay so much for a chair, I would say it was worth it. You never sweat in the chair, you never feel discomfort, you can sit in it for 10 hours straight.

How was the cushion on the Sayl? I like that the Sayl can tilt forward a bit was wondering if the cushion was too soft or too hard?

Wait, the Aeron remastered's lumbar support can be adjusted up and down? Mine seems to be fixed
I think they refreshed it and added that.
Watching this sitting in my Gaming Embody that I collected two days ago. No regrets thus far.
Nice! That was my first HM chair. I love the teal back on it!
Is the white Sayl color still looking good after many year or is it going to be yellow or grey?
So far no issues on mine. Not sure over a decade. I know you can wipe it down easy though
Thats really good that they come preassembled.
It legit shocked me how fast I unboxed all three, and I even put things back into the box. Probably could have done all of it in two minutes or less!!

Can you still get the arms out of the way easily on the Eon in order to play guitar?
I think you can! They're pretty soft as well, so I wouldn't personally have concerns about it on my Taylor acoustic.

How does the gaming version of the embody compare to the regular one?

hii, could you review sony pulse elite for ps5? or maybe talk about the best option for gaming, like spacial perception, delay.. :)
I don't think so. Sorry!
Thanks for this, it's hard to find good reviews for these chairs here in Japan. I appreciate the indepth review, subscribed!
So glad I could help!! I really wanted to make it in-depth and cover the things I’d be curious about myself when shopping.
sir nothing is my budget
It wasn't in my budget for awhile, but eventually it was. Someday, friend.
Very helpful
Glad I could help!
I clicked on this video to see the homie 🤘🏻
Thanks, man!!
Anyone else notice weird audio in this video? Or is it just me? This first half felt like it was mostly on the right side of my speakers?
I think you're the only one, friend.

I don't understand why chairs don't add foot rest 😕
Depends on the chairs. These are not counter height but normal height. The taller chairs tend to have foot rests.
Asiatic cultures have it the most correct. Sitting on the floor beats any chair in the world in terms of health.
Hard to not slouch though. I’m so bad at it.
The ironic thing is, we slouch because the back support chairs offer weakens the stabilizing muscles around our spine and neck.
NONE of these high-end designer chairs help with lumbar-associated back pain. The only real alternative to sitting and back pain is a zero gravity recliner, and then it becomes difficult to work on the computer.

who tf has 1000+ dollars to spend on an office chair 💀💀
There are ppl who spend 1000+ on phones and replace them quickly...the chair at least will last
