    Not in a million years, so to speak, would Seti 1 have imagined that in 3,000 years thousands of people would be looking at his mummy and seeing how he might have looked like through the magic of photoshopping. Incredible work, thank you. BTW he does look regal 👑.

    The ears bottom lobe meets jawline alines up strait to the bottom center nose to face, above lip. And are always pulled back further through mummification than you would think to find marker for, depending ones face structure & jaw line.. a quarter inch mostly males, sometimes up to a half an inch females.

      All were sons of Ham.
      So why Mizraim couldn't be black or had blood of black in his veins ?
      First Egyptians are black!

      @@michaelrizea3108 Egypt is in Africa. First Egyptians were black. 100% black.
      White skin has only existed for 8000 years, and it appeared in the steppes of the northern Black Sea!
      If North Africa has become white, it is because of the successive invasions of populations from Europe and Asia. So it is quite normal that you have genes from the ancient Egyptians!
      Is it difficult to understand that?
      But, the ancient Egyptians did not look like you. They were black, just black.

Egypt is close to the Middle East and genetics mixed with the Arabs making a lighter skin tone.... humans may have started out being black but as humans started expanding and spreading across the globe they adapted to their surroundings and became what they are now.... built for their particular environment some genetics do not change for thousands of years because the environment has not changed so for a modern Egyptian to look exactly like an ancient Egyptian is sign that they have adapted..... ethnically speaking modern Vikings look the same as they did in the old days.... Evolution forced humans to adapt to their particular surroundings for survival... most Africans are black because their environment has not changed...... humans have already adapted those that did not adapt... died ... adapt or die

      @A.Dash30 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @Kipper Knickerz Genetic studies disprove your claims. About 80% of modern day Egyptian share the same DNA as ancient Egyptians. Most Egyptians are brown skinned especially in southern Egypt. You can look at the faces of southern Egyptians nowadays to see how Pharoah's looked like.
      Some royal people came from Nubia and Sudan but that doesn't mean that all Egyptians were black.
      You can take a look at Ramses ii drawing in which he holds three enemies by the head to see clearly how ancient Egyptians knew about the difference in races.

    • @A.Dash30
      @A.Dash30 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Kipper Knickerz Also it's not only genes that connect us to ancient Egyptians but also culture and inherent customs. If you visit Egypt you'd notice that from north to south people share an almost homogeneous culture and customs which if you follow back in time you could find their roots in ancient Egypt. Even those who are known to be descendants from non Egypt origins (like Armenians for example) who spent most of their lives in Egypt have adopted the Egyptian culture and soul and we consider them Egyptian regardless of their origins so our culture plays a very important role in what we consider to be "Egyptian"

    The problem with this reconstruction is that the royal family had red hair which also means fair skin and blue eyes. Recent scientific research has determined that the red haired mummies got their red hair not through chemical interaction with surrounding materials as so many have long thought, but from true genetics. the darker skin and brown eyes of Egypt today is reflective of the migration into that area since the extremely recent 1800's.

    why do so many people think that conquest automatically means that the entire people just died and barely left a genetic footprint? Britain was invaded several times and you could see how celtic DNA and Saxon DNA is still in modern-day british people's genetic makeup. Egypt has gone through no major genocides or anything to suggest that the original people were actually black. Romans conquered Egypt yet the genetic makeup didn't change that much. Spain was conquered by the moors pretty recently (lasted about 800 years) but the genetic makeup is still majority caucasian with little North African DNA and very little sub-suharan. What I'm trying to say is that conquer does not mean the original population was displaced or changed all that much.
