Steelhead fishing is a way of life for a lot of us in the pnw. I spend alll year chasing those beautiful fish up and down the Washington and Oregon Coast. They are truly an amazing creature!!!
First time watching this channel. Had to watch because this native PNWer knows it's not possible to travel the Oregon coast in one day. Never get tired of our beautiful coastline. 😍 Fun video.
Keep your head up man about the drone. Props to you for always pushing through the ups and downs of your adventures to give us the gnarliest bangers. Keep on trucking brother and stay safe!
22:22 love hearing your excitement for nature. you're journey has inspired me tons and i love this adventure of yours. keep up the awesome work on these videos and be safe out there bubba. 🤘
Orange flame is likely due to humidity by the ocean. Boiling point for water is also higher by the ocean as well. Love the vids man. West coast is just as amazing as the east coast by the looks of it. Also enjoy seeing that not all your moments are highlights and that there are struggles along the way! Keep up the great work
Ahh the drone and footage! Total bummer 😢 Those birds though, like grey and blue cardinals how cool! Another amazing adventure chaotic or not, thanks for bringing us along!
Bro... This was such a fun vid. I'm based outta Eugene, which is east of Florence (about an hour)... I took a trip down to the Redwoods last summer with cousins, who were, visiting the coast from Idaho... Love this reminder to take it slower next time they roll up! So fun!! You def lucked out with the weather. It's a bit hit or miss this time of year. 🤙
Check a few things: Regulator Pressure The most common cause of yellow flames is low gas pressure from the regulator, which is an easy fix that you can do at home. Open the grill lid. Turn off all knobs on the control panel in front. Turn off the tank knob.
Was so cool to see you film in Florence! Sad I didn’t get a chance to catch you man but if your ever in Florence again post ahead of time I’d be happy to show you some sick spots!
I love steelhead fishing here in Washington and Oregon it is definitely one of my favorite things to do, I also love the Oregon and washington coast, hopefully you are able to fish for chinook well you are passing through Oregon and Washington!
Dang man, sorry about your drone, but way to keep a positive attitude and keep going. Also, the more I watch on the PNW area the more it draws me for an adventure!
So sorry about the drone. Seems like the coast took its tribute. :D Also -- Kiwanda Rock isn't Haystack Rock. That's up by Cannon Beach. If you think Kiwanda was big, just wait 'til you get up there...HR is HUGE. (If you get there at low tide, you've got to check out the tide pools at the base. They're like an aquarium, but outside. Just don't poke the tiny crabs. They've got a pinch for how small they are.)
Missed out on crater lake. You have to make a stop there next time. Also the sand dunes in coos bay are amazing and fun. Tsunami warnings are for an earthquake that would cause a tsunami. They don’t just happen without an earthquake. So you should be fine.
Bro I got a couple fire rescue buddies that have done tons of climbing and are in Oregon - if you have a pin location for where the drone is they would totally be up for a recovery - hit me up would love to help you out !!
Such an awesome way to live. Free as can be. Making your own hours, no one to report too. Meeting people and making friends and lasting memories along the way. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. One question, what do you do for money? I really envy this life style and would like to embarc on my own like this. Is TH-cam that profitable?
Could you do an episode just explaining how you find all of these amazing places? I’m looking to do a trip like this and don’t even know where to start. How do figure out camping locations, scenic locations, gas stops and things of that sort?
Try to clean burners with air compressor or somthin carbon will build up. Gas wall furnaces have to be cleaned out periodically for same reason. Also blue flame is hotter so prolly takes longer when you see the orange flame to cool
Dude next time you go back to the redwoods drive from Ferndale on the coast to the mouth of the mattol river then to shelter cove and if timing is right you can drive from there to fort brag. Great trip with even better views. I wouldnt mind showing you the route and area. Let me know
One more thing, what’s your camera setup you’re hearing dairy I’m, looking into investing something similar for and up amd roadtrips💪. Atill and while we’re at, incredible stuff. There will be testing times? Don’t dout iyaq’ Diogo drom Portugal
Enjoy your great videos. I feel for u and lost a drone off the coast of the florida keys off of my boat. Maybe u could find someone in the area that is a climber and has safety gear to traverse out there for a few bucks? Not sure it's possible but a thought. I ended up buying a used drone (same as I lost for $500) which had a case and some extras good luck!
You comin up into washington? I'm up in west seattle, got a spot for you to park if you want it 😄 Oh! If you want a nice spot to hang out for an afternoon i could give you the adress of a awesome spot on the green river, it's got some rapids, a wide point to hang around and swim, and a short cave that a part of the river runs through too!
Man I'm far too working class for drone ownership 'cus you'd have found my body at the base of those cliffs after trying to climb up to the peninsula. I'd have swam there if it meant recovering several hundred dollars of equipment 😅
I haven’t seen him drink any coffee or any redbulls which in my mind is absolutely insane. How does one drive for a living like this and not caffeinate.
Careful of poison oak when you’re on skinny trails like the one at the beginning of the video, growing up on the west coast I am all to aware of how that shit can ruin your day/week

Dude the way you make friends so easily is so cool
Loved this action packed video! You are living life meeting the locals. Enjoy your time off with family. And as always thanks for sharing.
Beck took my family and i out to the dunes in the lexus. I screamed the whole time😂. He was absolutely amazing 👏. Glad you got to experience it!
😆😆
I remember exploring the Oregon coast in my twenties and feeling in awe of its beauty. Thanks for taking us along….your fun!

Super cool unexpected adventure with Beck!
So sorry you lost your drone and some footage.
Hope you have a blessed time with your Uncle and Aunt too ❤
I did the whole coast last year. It's amazing there. I spent a week doing it and could have stayed a month. Glad you had a good time
So awesome to bump into you and chat in Gold Beach. Safe travels!
Smiled the whole way with you on this adventure up the coast!
Sundays the best day of the week for me because I just can’t get enough of your journey!
Great video man. I worked on a boat that went up and down that coast and this brings me back to some happy memories. Thanks a lot!
Orange flame is likely due to humidity by the ocean. Boiling point for water is also higher by the ocean as well.

Wow, that was amazing. I was down in that area Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Sunday for was the best day.
Love love love the drone pics that you were able to get. Sorry for your loss drone.
Best so far! Especially the last few drone vids. Beautiful.
Ahh the drone and footage! Total bummer 😢

Editing is so much better now, awesome job man!

Dang man, sorry about your drone, but way to keep a positive attitude and keep going. Also, the more I watch on the PNW area the more it draws me for an adventure!

LOVE the Oregon Coast, great video! If you ever get a chance, check out Oswald West beach.
Thanks for the ride.
Your videos are my favorite!!!
Love it Oregon coast is beautiful thank you for sharing 🇯🇲
It would be cool to see a video of your rig evolution/what you learned after living in a pickup truck after 130+ days
Dude!!! You were RIGHT THERE!! JAKE….YOU GOONIE!…..or maybe you’re not?! 😂
nothing like flip flop adventures, those are the best kind
Awesome stuff as aways!
You should share your spotify PL so we can heep your company while hitting the road!🤘
Awesome video! Hope the fishing was amazing!
Fully Love Your Videos!!!!!!
Sucks to lose your drone but at least we got to see some amazing footage
P.s. I got my mom hooked on your channel 😂
Such a beautiful coastline
Great views. No bacon And toast and jelly with those eggs.

As an Oregon local I would really recommend bend and central Oregon
grew up here in bandon oregon on the coast ! coos and curry county for the win!

Goonies vibes... 😊
loving the series, can you provide the link/reference of the drone you were using previously?
cool sand dunes run with a subscriber!
It could be both the low fuel and the humidity. Especially up there. I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re running into a combo.
I feel your pain, bro, with the drone....I just lost mine a couple of weeks ago...
Could you do an episode just explaining how you find all of these amazing places? I’m looking to do a trip like this and don’t even know where to start. How do figure out camping locations, scenic locations, gas stops and things of that sort?
I’ve been wanting to check out secret beach in Brookings Oregon it looks awesome
What model drone do you fly? I love all your drone shots! Great video!
Yes weep for us in CA and our gas prices. Can’t wait to escape the madness.
Beautiful !!
Try to clean burners with air compressor or somthin carbon will build up. Gas wall furnaces have to be cleaned out periodically for same reason. Also blue flame is hotter so prolly takes longer when you see the orange flame to cool
One-Eyed Willy has the best oysters, but you gotta find him and his boat, which is kind of a pain.
Dude next time you go back to the redwoods drive from Ferndale on the coast to the mouth of the mattol river then to shelter cove and if timing is right you can drive from there to fort brag. Great trip with even better views. I wouldnt mind showing you the route and area. Let me know
Really should look into getting some drone insurance.pretty sure that your incident would qualify as a fly away which is usually covered.
One more thing, what’s your camera setup you’re hearing dairy
I’m, looking into investing something similar for and up amd roadtrips💪.
Atill and while we’re at, incredible stuff. There will be testing times? Don’t dout iyaq’ Diogo drom Portugal
Omg you blew through the coos bay dunes! There’s free beach camping there

Why would you only spend 1 day at the entire oregon coast ur missing out so much 😭
For real tho 😢
Bros got places to be
Very true
I came here to say the same! Oregon is a GEM! Crater lake is one of my favorite places on earth and I have travelled all over the world!
He said in a previous episode that he’s trying to make it in time for a fishing trip!
What do you do for a living man? Always wanted to work from home on the computer to have more time with my family. I would love to know 👍🏽
I’d say you should go check out the Leslie gulch since you’re in Oregon
Seeing some poison oak where your walking might be a good idea to ditch the flip flops with some shoes. Leaves of 3 let it be.
You comin up into washington? I'm up in west seattle, got a spot for you to park if you want it 😄 Oh! Excelent video
Great video thanks
4.11$ for gas is still absolutely crazy. I wouldn’t drive if I had to pay that much. We’re paying 2.90$ in New York and THATS high.
Lost our drone on the beach there…. lol seagulls chased it and we lost it trying to evade them
4:50 bro 😂
I was wondering what is your average milage on these road trips? Just curious)
U should pull up to Yellowstone and grand Teton area on June 4-5 and go off roading ima be ripping it in my 23 year old dodge
More Counting Crows!
Goonies!!!
What time of year did you travel the coast?
What kind of drone do ya use?
Who's voice is thT at 18:15 seconds
There's another voice saying eh eh if you listen Carefully
That truck is starting to look like a banana 😂
How?
Propane is low dude that's why it is orange or it could be the air it depends on when you changed it and RIP to the drone
😮 hey Brotha how do you het away with playing old hit tunes and not get copyright strike? I thought TH-cam requires permission?
Should have brought a slay or something so once you got to the top you could have slide all the way down saved time and energy.
Man I'm far too working class for drone ownership 'cus you'd have found my body at the base of those cliffs after trying to climb up to the peninsula. I'd have swam there if it meant recovering several hundred dollars of equipment 😅
Atleast somebody can come now and retrieve it, if they dare:)
i wouldve got my drone back. didn’t look like that bad of a climb. but ig ur in a hurry to get somewhere so you don’t have the time
Yes man🎉🎉🎉🎉😮
I haven’t seen him drink any coffee or any redbulls which in my mind is absolutely insane. How does one drive for a living like this and not caffeinate.
I love this channel I’ve been watching since the truck build.. keep it going..
- #meezy 315$.
Careful of poison oak when you’re on skinny trails like the one at the beginning of the video, growing up on the west coast I am all to aware of how that shit can ruin your day/week
Usually means propane is running low when flame is orange. Just from experience but hey, what do I know. 😂
