My top three here is close to what you picked. I would put the HHX Evolution and Wuhan in my top three as well, but then for me personally, the AAX would be the other one I'd pick. I might be a bit biased though as I have a 12" (a 10" for that matter) AAX splash. The way you formatted this video, with the cymbals numbered and the gram weights displayed is really great, thank for doing that!
did you figure what it was yet?? im on the edge of my seat rn thinking to myself if you found what u were looking for haha. (hint: it's in the description..!)
IMO, a 12 inch splash is a far better option than a 8 or 10. The 12 has a much stronger voice and can cut through the mix better. What I don’t understand, is why you didn’t label the various cymbals that you were demonstrating, how are we to know what they are?
Thanks for the comparison!. So you own 12 12in splashes?. Well alright, it helps me out. I'm looking at a used one of what would be number 11 on your lineup, so an A Zildjian 12" Extra Thin Splash. What do you think about number your #11?. How would you describe/rate it amongst the rest?
Sorry for the late reply.......I really like that one. IT's quick and has a little bit smaller/flatter bell than typical to make it fast and a little more focused. These come up used fairly regularly, usually for a decent price.
Cool video, check out the Sabian AAX 12” splash if you’re interested. It has a high pitch and perfect sustain. The thing about 12” splash cymbals is that they are on a fine line of sounding like a crash cymbal because of their diameter but fade out quicker than a normal cymbal. That’s just the way I hear it . Keep on drumming.🥁🪖🤘

Thanks for comparison! At this point it is better to buy the crash cymbal in my opinion
4 and 7. Great video! Thanks
1, 4 and 7 great video man!! thanks
Awesome video. #2 sounds kind of like a 16" crash
I knew it when you picked my fav. 12 splash, HHX Evolution, damn i'm good! And i own almost the complete Evolution line;.
Muy fuego 🔥 My fav too, with the Wuhan as a close second
Fantastic video - thank you!!
Man likes his splashes 👌
the last one was best...I'm considering that I should use a big splash in a small practice room...a normal crash is overwhelming.
How come most of them sounds like crash cymbals.
What was no 2? It was my favourite.

I'm surprised that the aax was the thinnest! The evolution was my favorite

Use 10" Wuhan Splash (early gen) as PRIMARY CRASH for home set that you'd have to pry from my cold, dead hands!
Thank you for this comparison! Is the Wuhan (#5) the WUSP12?

El primero y el ultimo de la primera fila y el tercero de la segunda
It’s sounds funny but I think 2,4,6,8,10,12 sound the best
Wtf why are you not naming them?
Description below. You didn't read Tom Puss, eh?
