I love the way you set this comparison up so we can hear each sound compare to the others right away. So many comparison videos demonstrate one sound but keep playing that sound for 20 seconds or more before playing a different sound. That one goes for 20 more seconds. During that time I forget what the first sound was like. Anyway, your bam bam approach was great for me. Thank you so much.❤️
I got the Zultan Aja in 10 inch in 2023, gotta say : it sounds amazing for its price, I was totally amazed 😍 Although, I really like the sound of the Zildjian A also and since I have the pack of Custom A on my kit, maybe someday I'll get this one as well!
The Aja was my first splash. Got it in 8 and 10, and for the price they are unbeatable, solid Splash cymbal, even compared to much higher end cymbals. Roght now I play an Sabian HHX 10" Splash, which is somehow quute close to the Aja, but with less drone afterwards, it is a little drier. But yeah, the 10" Aja, punches WAY above its pricepoint.
I have the PST7 and like it. Sounds pretty good here, too. All of them had decent, unique sounds, but that PST3... those gongy overtones were way too prevalent. I lean toward the AAX and A Custom in this round.
im looking forward to buying to stack a paiste 10" swiss PSTX splash, Zultan 08" Aja splash and a millenium 12" B20 splash. would that make a good sound? if not, can you recommend a good splash stack around 100€
I like a lot the fx of the cymbals with holes. However, since they are made with a inferior material, I think I'll get the Millenium (made with B20) and just drill holes on it.

Glad you enjoyed! //Simon
I agree ... kept it nice and simple so that you could clearly hear each splash. Some guys overdo it .... less is more in this case
Boy oh boy you’re everywhere, and I’m starting to find you 😊
@@aaronmichaels8347 👏👏👏 Well said, Aaron.
@@The-Tired-Drummer Well, I took one out of The Beach Boys song book: Round round get around, I get around.🤪😜😂🤣
I have the Zildjian A Custom 10 inch splash and I love it. The perfect splash sound.
I love splash cymbals! That said, I've never heard one as bad as the Paiste PST3 10"! Sounds like you bought it at a dollar store.
Agreed. Usually the cheaper alloys still sound ok on recording but that pst was horrid lol.

i think the Meinl sounds the best. I am surprised that the A Custom sounded horrible to me considering that their cymbals are top notch.

I think i might be alone on liking 8s, 7s, and 6s...i dont play anything larger.
