I never felt like a red nail polish person myself, but then I got Essie Nailed It and I’m rethinking red polishes! Nailed It is more of a blue-toned burgundy, so I want one that’s less purple. I’m thinking about getting OPI Malaga Wine or Essie Forever Yummy!

I recently got Rare As Rubies from Morgan Taylor, but haven't had the chance to wear it yet; looks FABULOUS in the bottle though.

Pretty picks! Try Morgan Taylor Rare As Rubies! Way prettier than China Glaze Ruby Slippers. Beyond Polish has it in regular polish or peel off formula! Couldn’t stop looking at my nails when I had it on as it has a really pretty red sparkle! For bright red creme, I like OPI Coca Cola Red, or OPI Emmy, Have You Seen Oscar!

The reds I hope to wear this December include Zoya Blaze, OPI Paint the Tinseltown red, Essie In a Gingersnap, Zoya Soko, Zoya Tanya, Zoya Ming. You defo need to pick up Zoya Blaze and Zoya Everly if you do not have them as they are Zoya's two red scattered holos! Also Zoya Payton (which is a plum) but still gorgeous! But a polish I would love to own is OPI All I want for Christmas is OPI, because I love the song my Mariah Carey, it is a fav Christmas song of mine! My favorite red of all time is You Make Me Vroom from OPI. It’s a very hard to find red cream from the Mustang 2005 Spring collection. It was a limited edition collection and it only had 3 polishes. Besides You Make Me a room, it had Gone Platinum in 60 Seconds and Revved Up and Red-y which was a burgundy shimmery red. A friend gave it to me bc I have driven Mustang convertibles for the last 20 years. We are a family that loves Ford and there are roughly 6 Mustangs in the family ranging from 1965-2018. My original bottle ran out and I had to go on EBay to find my newer bottle. I rarely use it because it’s so precious to me (you’d think it was the holy grail!). It’s right up there with the original Pacific Blue from Sally Hansen. I may have to get a display case for that collection plus Pacific Blue. Lol…….
Scarlet O’Hara and Be Cherry are my two Essies. I have Wrenn Ruby Slippers; a sparkly fav. China Glaze Ruby Pumps looks pretty but I don’t own it. I think it’s popular.
My current favourite red is the OPI infinite shine Maraschino Cheer-y. It’s slightly jelly so shiny great formula. My current face. But Essie Forever Yummy is a close second.

I have Toy to the World. Haven't opened it yet, but it was fun to see it here. I made a note of Orly Cranberry Believe It, though. It would be great for me. In general, I'm partial to orangey-reds/reddish-oranges and bright, shiny reds. I don't take to darker reds. There are not too many polishes I think of as dated--that usually does not matter to me--but dark reds feel that way to me. My mother hated them, and I think that must have rubbed off on me! LOL! But give me the bright ones!

Love these!! But do you have a favorite red in Essie gel couture! That is the only polish I use because three years ago I had acrylics on and when I went back he got pissed because I would get them filled in and after soaking the acrylics off and he filed them on off he destroyed my natural nails and it took me almost a year to get them back. The gel couture I feel does good for me and I don’t like to change lol SO a suggestion of a red in the Essie gel couture would be appreciated from you or anyone!! I’m looking at graces in garnet for Jan/bday…. But haven’t quite found the red I want for Christmas!! Help please!!
I don’t have any reds from the GC line, BUT I know a lot of people love ‘Rock the Runway’ from the GC line. I can’t tell if it’s a warm toned/almost orangey red or a true red by the photos online. I see descriptions calling it a “bright, striking red.” I’m hoping to purchase it soon as I think it looks gorgeous!!!
I love reds but don't wear them a lot. Forever Yummy is one of the only reds I own! Just recently acquired big apple red, red-veal your truth, and color so hot it berns. I like the blue toned reds or the true reds, not so much the corals and orange-reds or wine reds.
