TK's voice and musical creativity are something that happens once in a million. Once you hear it, you will never forget it. When it comes to Unravel, I've heard a lot of covers, a lot of singers. Virtually everyone is great, because it's a truly beautiful, touching song. However, none of them made as much of an impression on me as the author himself. The pain in his voice is so real that I reacted the same way you did - by crying. It's also my favorite opening. I think it's a masterpiece and a timeless legend.
Tk’s music has this feel to it that I like. In the day I listen to whatever and all I want but when I tuck myself in for the night, I have at least one of his and his band’s tunes in queue and the warmth envelops me in my sleep. Real nice
I feel like TK does have the more sorrowful interpretation, like pure pain in his voice, while Ado shows a duality between rage and suffering. In my opinion both are necessary interpretations given Kaneki's background, at times you can feel one more than the other. Two great interpretations nevertheless by two awesome singers. Great reaction Okebekee so far enjoying your stuff!! I would recommend you to check the other Tokyo Ghoul opening on The First Take, that is Asphyxia by Co Shu Nie, heavily underreacted and its also a very emotional interpretation.
TK is such a beast, thanks for the reaction. If your interested, the chainsaw man ending 8 song is by TK and is really good, definitely some spoilers though

Thank you. I've actually watched chainsaw man
TK's first take video "copy light" is also recommended as it is an emotional sound source.
