Why did this 12x18p cleaver only reach 5,800 and not reach 5,900 rpm. Lost water pressure? Could you increase the engine height even further with this cleaver?
@@merc625 Do you believe that to get more rpm with this propeller you would have to increase the height more, also add a lwp or would it be better to reduce the diameter, maybe 11.5??

The motor was raised as high as I could safely go.
5800 is pretty spot on for rpm
The prop has a lot of blade area the slip is only around 3.5%

@@RoggerLemes a transom mount water pickup and raising the motor would be the way to go
