There is nothing in this video, at my age, that i will ever be doing again myself! However, I loved every minute of it and am looking forward to the rest of the series! It’s too bad that in the world we live in today you cannot share the entire family video, but trust me-they will never forget these moments even when they complain about not getting cell service in the camper! Kudos, carry on, and God Bless!
For what its worth...I really appreciate that...we honestly try to protect or kids from videos....its a shame...but a while back we learned our lesson....tuff way to find out...thanks for the support
Unfortunately, I’m in the same boat. We sold the brand new, never used, big RV last year because it had too many problems. And we decided that would be enough RVing for us. 8 weeks ago, I found out I have the big C, and will be having major surgery in two weeks. The prognosis at this time is really good, as far as cancer goes, but any cooking I do will be on the patio or in my outdoor kitchen for the foreseeable future.
@@PelletsandPitsoh, this upsets me. Who do I need to smack down? I was a little girl a loooonnnngggg time ago. I’d walk through fire for any little girl who went through what I did or to prevent it
Best video in a while! (Yeah I say that a lot) but seriously the road trip camping / cooking series is a great idea!!! That will be fun. Gotta have some clips of the fam hiking and playing as well!
Incredible video Neal! Everything looked delicious and I bet your fellow campers were enjoying the aroma of your cooks. Treasure every moment in this new experience , as time passes so quickly. I truly appreciate you sharing your adventure and of course your inspiring meals. Cheers my friend! (Oh…you catch any fish?)
When it rains (without wind) just lower 1 corner of your awning and the water runs off. Thats what awnings are for … Great looking food and fun content, thanks for sharing your adventures! Cook/Camp on kids!
Boss, your ability to create amazing dishes out of whatever is lying around is truly a gift. I don't care for donuts or smores, but I'd sure try this gem. Another great video, can't wait for the next one.
@PelletsandPits Hot Dog kabobs. Everyone likes good old Tube steak while camping. Never heard off Hot Dog kabobs before but I know you of all people could pull off a decadent exotic main course. Use Smoked Sausage if that's a better option. Pineapple and the rest of typical vegetables on a bed of rice while camping. Who does that?
I remember the days of camping and children. They had more fun than the adults. They always felt eating was a chore. They wanted the adventure at the campground. We enjoyed the cooking and eating. The ribs looked awesome. The bread pudding was to die for.....i'm a "little" diabetic so i would have to pass or ..... Thanks to both of you.
Great camping outing Neil and Amy and the crew two. Great job with the rain out save Neil, no worry, the Grill was doing the cooking and never faltered. The meal looked awesome and then the dessert later turned out fantastic. Thanks for sharing all with us. Fred.
What a fun trip that must be!! That must be so cool using a pellet grill out in nature like that. Totally jealous! Those ribs and kabobs look awesome for sure! That donut s'mores custard pudding creation looks so good! That's a great on the fly recipe right there.
Now that is dedication to getting you BBQ on. It is 2:24 in the morning and I'm watching this video, now I'm really hungry. I really need to leran how to use my Trager smoker.
You do know to keep your awning tilted at an angle for the water to roll off, right? I assume you do, but thought I’d mention it…just in case. Love your content!!!
@@PelletsandPits it’s been years since I’ve had fresh caught trout, had to of been early 90’s when I went to Utah with my grandpa from Minnesota before his passing
Not only are you vacationing as a “business expense” you are giving the world smoked smore pudding as a recipe idea?!? Some people see a solution nobody asked for and say “hey, welcome to pellets and pits! I’m gonna make the impossible better!” All joking aside, this makes me excited for this summer’s videos!
@@PelletsandPits I forgot to ad that if y’all make it down to central ms on one of these adventures I’m in a trailer park/rv place in my class a motorhome. There’s one about 20 minutes west that is more of a traditional campground.
Good job of variety on the channel. I would hope viewers would be encouraged to get out there and just try things. If it works, great, if it doesn't you still learned something if you pay attention...................you'll do better next time.
I kind of want to go camping just so I can learn how to cook on charcoal with a Dutch Oven. But really the cooking part is all I want so I may as well just put a trivet in the yard somewhere I don't mind the grass being burnt 😅
I just have to say. We are going on vacation in 2 weeks, and that bread pudding will be done. I would love to get info on the rv rentals if possible. TIA
Guy we dont camp, we glamp! lol Our grocery bill is higher for a weekend camping than for a week at the house...lol Im pretty sure that my camper outdoor kitchen has just as much stuff as my wife has at the house. lol We will be at Fall Creek Falls in a couple weeks then back to Sevierville for the 4th. Oh and FYI, the seasoning I ordered from ya, Shake that, probably some of the best stuff I have used in a while.. It will now be a staple in the collection!

That pit boss pellet smoker looks neat, but I still say it's a missed opportunity, not taking a weber smokey mountain to the smokey mountains.
Dont have one...hahahah

Also, get yourself a hammock and some headphones.

We did not...it was set up for us...
What is that table
Throw some chocolate chips in there!

Yes...we actually have another video called how long will it last...we cooked a pork butt for 15 hours on one charge and still had battery left
