just bought one of these,im connected with a cardo Q3, im aware i cant then use UHD, but when i turn on the internal mic switch, i then loose audio from my cardo headset. In the manual it says i should still get both internal and headset audio, even with a non Sena headset, any thoughts?

So your recording time is only limited by how big your memory card is! The only worry here is overheating the GoPro, so stick to 1080p or smaller res to help avoid this.
According to the Sena Bluetooth Backpack manual the Bluetooth backpack will pair in ultra HD voice with any Sena product not just the 20s as you said in this video.

Yes, you only need one GP10 Bluetooth Back when using Sena headsets. The GP10 is powered separately from the GoPro, so you would need to keep the GP10 powered on even when toggling the GoPro on and off. -DrewZilla

I purchased this i have same set-up you are showing sena 20s with gopro hero 4 silver and the sena bluetooth backpack i have it mounted on my chin it works amazing but when i switch the backpack to have its mic on to record outside my helmet it echos my voice horribly bad everything is updated so you have a clue why is doing that?

I have the hero 4 silver attached under my visor. Is handy because I can line it up how I like by watching the screen, or review stuff without removing it. Is it possible to remote line this device? With the appropriate usb cable of course, or is the plug on the back, or left of the screen a neccesary plug?

Firstly, make sure all the units you are using are on up-to-date firmware. From there, we use the following procedure: 1. Pair the GP10 to your headset (or whoever the leader is). 2. Shut the GP10 down, and start an intercom conversation with the other riders in your group. 3. Restart the GP10, and it should connect to your headset and be able to record audio from the headsets you are connected to. That said, what Sena headsets are you using? Even with the latest 20S headsets we use, our video team still has connectivity issues occasionally and riders will have to reconnect by tapping the side button to reenter the conversation. When you're connecting a lot of devices things aren't perfectly seamless. If you are still having trouble, you may want to reach out to Sena directly for troubleshooting. I want to order one but everyone says it's only compatible with the Hero 3 and 3+. On Sena website it says the Hero 4 also. This would be a dumb idea to not have it work the Hero 4 since that's the new camera out now. I think I will email Sena to get some clarification.

I think I will just stick to having my gopro with my mic only with my voice. Having the gopro pick up my other riders voice is not worth a brick on my head plus a extra $100 on top of a $400 gopro.
