Man this was a good video. I like your bonafide kayak that you got. I like how the water bottle matches the kayak. I live in the DMV & there's some awesome fishing off the Chesapeake Bay. I'm sorry to hear about your Rod breaking. That was awesome how you show how easy it is to stand up in the bonafide especially barefooted 👣. And you are right it is more stable standing Barefooted 👣 too. I have to kayak Barefooted 👣 because i have big very very extremely wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE wide with very fat wide toe that are equally straight across making my foot very very wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. It is very difficult having a foot this extremely wide but there are some good points about it too. With the Bonafide being very stable & my foot being very extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide i have very good stability. But on the bad side of it ! it really really sucks having a foot this extremely wide because my foot outgrew shoes , socks , & boots 35 years ago & the only thing that will barely and I mean barely fit on my feet is flip-flops wish barely fit on my feet because my toes are wider than the flip flops straps. It also doesn't help that my toes are very very fat and straight across instead of being at a 45-degree angle like everybody else's toes are. This is how I ended up with my bonafide kayak because my foot got stuck in a inside sit inside kayak. But this was a good video. apologize for being so long. Thank you for sharing.
I have not tried either one of those. However when I was purchasing the RS117 I also briefly looked and the Flint but ultimately decided on the RS117. It kept popping up as one of the best you can buy in its price range.
You mentioned that you’ve never been able to stand, float, and fish all at once on a kayak before. Would you say that the Bonafide has better stability than the Big Fish 105? I’ve been looking to get a 105, but I’m not sure.
I think the the side rails of the seat on the Big Fish make it a little easier to support yourself with your hands as you stand because the rails seem to be a tiny bit higher but once standing I feel like the Bonafide has better over all stability. It’s easy to stand in both but I feel like the Bonafide has the edge slightly.
Like how you just went somewhere you didn’t even know for sure if you could launch from, that’s what makes it an adventure.
Yeah it is always fun not knowing what to expect. I’ll def go
back. There is still much to explore there. Thanks for watching man!!!

Limited parking is a positive feature because it usually means limited people
Yes it does!!
Did you try any other kayaks in the class? I am pretty sure I am getting the rs117 but the jackson bite and nucanoe flint are considerations also

Dang, that sucks that the rod snapped
Love the video
Thanks man! Shxt happens
Curious on your height, looking at the RS117 myself.
I am 5’11 . I love my RS117. I think for the price it is one of the beat all around options.
