Why might my doctor make me wear only an elastic on one side and if my appointment was canceled should I not a wear the elastic to not cause any unesscary shifting?

I got four teeth extracted and now my upper jaw and under jaw have moved too far back, much more than I’d wanted. What if your Invisalign cracked, your last set? My Invisalign cracked were my front left tooth is. It is my last set/retainer. What should I do? Leave it and wait until it’s unwearable? It’s not a huge crack but it’s there.

hey doctor my braclet is detached from my teeth but still attached to the wire. my type of braces is damon type. I've contacted the doctor who handled my braces. he said for a while not having to come first except for emergencies (examples of swelling etc.). I'm in the refinement phase of invisalign. My bite is off on the left side. The longer I wear them, the more by bite seems to open on the inside. I'm on tray 12 of 14. Should I continue to wear them until my orthodontic office reopen?
I really wished there was a way to consult with you online. I've been wearing my damon braces for 4 months now, and my front tooth is just not sitting in place. My orthodontist has also put those lace ties and they are pretty tight (because i had spaces, so to close them). I really wish if you could suggest something here. I watched your IPR video. Hi Dr.Greg,i hope you are doing good.Last month,my powerchain broke so i went to my orthodontist to get a new powerchain.Then last week my powerchain broke again at the same spot(in between my two molars on my bottom teeth).It is so weird because i never pick on my braces.And the powerchain on my top teeth(between my two front teeth)looks like it's about to brake.The powerchain on the top is the super spaced out one,and on my bottom teeth it's the tight one.Obviously,my orthodontist clinic is closed.Any suggestions?? -Have a wonderful day and stay safe.
Could you make a video and give your opinion about damon braces? Why doesn’t every orthodontist use this system. My orthodontist said that it was way better than the traditional braces. (That is because no teeth needed to be pulled, the treatment is less painful, the treatment is faster, and overall my orthodontist said that you get better results.) Hi! I’ve had my retainer for around 6 months and I cracked them on the border and it goes in but it isn’t cracked all the way through. It cracked a couple months ago but I didn’t tell my orthodontist. Is it okay if I still wear it though? Dr greg, i have had my braces off since September 2019, and was given the invisible retainers , i have been wearing it on and off instead of 24hours, i’m afraid my little gap infront of my 2 teeth might be back since i can see a little gap now but not sure if I’m just paranoid. Should i get fixed retainers instead?is it too late? Will it ensure my small gap won’t be back? I’m honestly too lazy to put on my retainers and it is very inconvenient when eating outside .my top retainers dont fit easily anymore and i have to force it to fit my teeth😢
Isabel Rosé honestly i just force the retainer on and lest if on for most of the day only taking it off for eating and brushing teeth and after two weeks probs put them only during sleep
You need to wear your retainers every single night. If your teeth have shifted a little, wear them throughout the day until the gap is closed, then nights only.

It's supposed to do that it gets your teeth back in shape and ur gums are like that because your teeth are shifting I hope this helps!

Imo you should stop wearing the retainer until your orthodontist comes back. Then check up with them to know what to do

Can I file down the attachment? It’s sharp and causing scraping and soreness on my inner lip.
