I like how Cicada just doesn't run, he just simply walks

If this series had like 12 episodes compared to over 20 it would make the story flow so much better. Because honestly this could of been a season why barry and team flash actually has to learn how to fight without powers and that could of been interesting.

Season 5 was good for the first 13 episodes then it just went back to being shit except for episode 15 and 22 and cicada just got annoying and over the top

When Cicada was first shown the lightning that came out of his weapon I really thought it was reverse flash
The Original Cicada (Orlin Dwyer) was an Absolutely Amazing Antagonist’s.
Future Cicada (Grace Gibbons) was an Annoying Villain.

All Cicaida ever did was do a Dark knight vocal impression then hulk jump away
Cicada truly was the last great Flash villain. Five great nemesis in a row, a huge success. Sadly the writers never reached this high point again. Tom Cavanagh did his best but the show should have ended after Cicada.

@@elizabethgouverneur2972 it's not that that bothers me anymore, but the fact that Iris went alone to the main villain and was able to almost defeat him alone. Replace the cicada with some kind of zoom, and this scene would become the stupidest scene in the entire series

I kinda skipped this season for the most part. Instead of throwing a de-powered Barry at him repeatedly, did they ever try just good old Cisco tech? The cold gun was a season 1 weapon

This character was interesting until the story felt like it dragged on just to fill the season's episodes. This guy should have been caught in half the time but there was always some bullshit keeping him from getting caught. At the very least, a number of ways to kill him or defeat him either at a distance or without powers existed, such as the Flash's lightning throw.
Cicada was more of a half or quarter season villan.

It was made worse when nora said even supergirl tried catching him but failed. How did supergirl fail when killer frost could fight him? Bullshit writing. And then she said “the league couldn’t stop him” even more bs

In the comics cicada wields a lightning dagger but it looks different from the show and comics
Didn't bother watching this season but I like the idea that the lightning from the particle accelerator was infused into the dagger and it is a lightning bolt as a result. That is why he can take powers in the first place.
