Great video I'm thinking of moving to Lakewood Ranch and have done research. First thing I think people should know that living in Lakewood Ranch will cost you from 5K to 10K a year this is the costs of HOA and CDD. This can make or break someone. I have a question about the social membership at Lakewood Ranch Country club. What do you get for the initiation fee and monthly dues? You said you are in Manatee county. So what community in Lakewood Ranch you live in? Taxes are cheaper in Manatee county than Sarasota county. Thanks.
Hi Peter, Thanks for the comments. First off, yes you are correct about the fees. The CDD fee is included in the annual real estate taxes at the end of the year. The HOA dues are usually paid quarterly to the Association that manages the community. The dues to LWR CC are different depending on the Membership level. You can see the fees here: markitsoldfl.lpages.co/lwr-cc/ Now the taxes are about even in Manatee and Sarasota counties.
@@Peter-ok9bj hey, do you think that an annual income of about 80k is enough to live in a 3br home in Lakeland ranch? If not what’s your estimate, to live comfortably?
@@KKMDStyle It all depends on your MORTAGE and other expenses. If you don't have a MORTAGE you can live very comfortably I believe it all depends on your debts and living style like any other place.
@@Peter-ok9bj I guess you are right. I guess the idea of moving to another state scares me more than I thought... Not knowing much about the Florida economy, is causing a bit of anxiety about moving in retirement :-)
Hi Tye, Thanks for the compliment. I don't get as far south as Venice, but if you decide to visit that area, I do work with an agent from our company there.
Hi Michael, according to the Lakewood Ranch business alliance, the average household income is $123k. Depending on debt to income ratio, I would think that would be plenty for that size home.
@@LivinginLakewoodRanch Could you give us a tour? Id like to see what you get for that price. It's pretty steep sign on price for a gym. Monthly seems reasonable assuming its for a family membership.
Just found your channel. I am an "Atlanta Boy" originally, currently living in Evans, GA. My wife and I are really thinking about Sarasota/Bradenton after our visit last year for the Pirates Spring Training games. I'm seeing that Florida living is going to be expensive. Glad we have our Costco membership current. Thanks for the information.
@@LivinginLakewoodRanch We have a blissful life, except when the Pirates are playing my Atlanta Braves (soon to be Hammers - yuck !) I married a Yankee. Will do. It was actually a lot of fun.

I’d like to know the average salaries needed to live comfortably in Lakewood ranch (assuming a 3 bd, 3 bath house).
