Thank you , Paul. What a wonderful voice. My sister liked you so much, we were in school then. She saved her pocket money to buy his album. Not the counterfeit !!! Paul was not just talented he was naturally good looking. No plastic surgery those days!
We shall all miss your wonderful voice bringing repeated fond memories of then esp. with hits of the 60s thu the 70s and today, here in Holland where I'm residing, this song brought warm memories too for me personally... coz I was at the O2 in London, with my wife to watch Rod (ney) Steward Live in the UK. 😢Very sad to learn from my ex classmate Salleh, of yr passing, Paul.🌿🌈🙏🏻🙏🏻😥 May you rest in Perpetual Peace.🙏🏻🎶🎤🌿🌈 - Desmond from PEE, Singapore.
I support our local singers because early past year , till today I only had memories of them. I know life is not forever and I miss them. Our local 1980 we are not rich to had such a good entertainment, but they bring us some enjoy song. Thank you very much. We not forgotten them
Used to watch Paul Cheong on TV when i was a kid. He was very likable. Glad to see and hear him again. Love the song and performance at the end of the interview.
Rest in peace, Uncle Cheong. 😢 It's a pity that today is the first time that I got to know you. I grew up in the 80s but home was filled with the songs of Cliff, ABBA, the Bee Gees, Boney M, Glen Campbell, et al, because of my father. He's a year younger than you. Wow. You did sound like Cliff Richard. It would have been brill to be your friend. A close friend died a few months ago. Zainal Danial Abidin of the Dukes. Did you know him? He converted to Christianity donkey's years ago. If you did knew him, if you bump into him, say hi to him for me, will ya? I missed him loads. He did not say goodbye to me when he left. That hurt a lot.
Rest in peace Paul I always listen to you in Rediffusion in the 70s when I was still a school boy. I love your David Soul rendition of Silver Lady and David Gates Goodbye Girl.
Living Years in 70th, with the synchronism of Paul's Music and his, at time, hoarst "baritone" voice was thrilling. Reflection, Paul you had been an inspiration, motivating and most of all invigorating to many. 'Sometimes when we touch, especially through the frequency, vibrations of your "PAULsating" song and music, it is time to say PAUL, have a great rest in ETERNITY. You shall be remembered, at least to me, and love as well. Goodbye Paul, (Girls in though years goes gaga). "You was never Joking" throughout your Living Years.
@ bigballsman. I think she was known as Belinda Sunshine, if my memories serve. Paul Cheong did a very good rendition of Rod Steward's I was only joking. Very sad to learn his of passing recently. Wish you were here.
I once (with many others) suffered through his singing at a pub called Woodstock at Far East Plaza. He went on stage and sang "Route 66" by the Stones and he actually forgot the lines! Did he hum it through, NO! Paul turned round and wiggled his arse for the audience.
@@hweetenglow3438He wasn't young when he sang at Woodstock. He was in his early to mid-40s. The truth is never pretty not as ugly as a lie. It's not being unkind. Being unkind is where you've lost your singing talent and make it available to the public. Yes, everyone grows old so you must accept it but don't go to ridiculous extents of trying to look hip and young, Paul Cheong's obviously wearing a wig (badly), tattooed eyebrows it appears, wearing a wool knit glove on one hand and I'm sorry - can't sing that well. Of course it's saddening to hear about his death but... I wrote the initial comment a bit more than a year ago and 6 people whom I don't know of are in agreement with me. RIP Paul.
I love how you effortlessly spew out harsh truths without filtering them through your neurological pathway and then act like it’s a badge of honor. I bet you just revel in the thought of people talking negatively in front and behind your back. Don’t worry, I’m sure you, too, will grow old and suffer through this and plenty of other toxic memories.
@@patrickliew4923 Oh stop it Patrick, you'll go blind. As you've said; "...you, too, will grow old and suffer through this and plenty of other toxic memories." Look in your mirror, it happens to all of us.

❤❤❤❤❤so disappointing. We are supposed to enjoy listening to Paul sing uninterrupted frm beginning but you must speak over his singing. Shit dissapointing bah😮😮😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks Paul, you sure sing very well. Keep it coming.
