Cut the cabinet doors in half down the middle and put them on piano hinges. That might be a solution for ya.
Thank you so much for the suggestion, we really do appreciate it and you watching!
If you travel in your camper for two years and you can tell the setbacks in 7 minutes, then that's not too bad, right?
It was another fun video to watch. Until the next!
You are right! We really appreciate the positivity and you watching! It means a lot to us 🥰
The awning also theoretically would reduce gas milage. I agree with you RE the awning I only used mine a couple of times generally to dry clothes when it was raining. I love the term "chasing 75" my new special term! RE AC check out splits: Gouku 12 V Universal Electric RV Truck Camper Van Air Conditioner & NEKPOKKA 12V DC air conditioner. I'm going 100% Jackery maybe a big one (the vehicle stuff) and a small one (Phone ect) they are all in one and are portable. RE fridge/freezer you will need a much bigger one if you want space for 40º & 0º. Or 2 units... RE cabinet doors: like everyone else I've watched 100rds of build videos I really like cubbies with bungee nets or a combination of drawers and nets. Nice Video! Safe Travels!!
All great feedback as always 😊 Chasing 75 should be everyone's motto in van life haha Thank you so much for all the great ideas, we really do appreciate it and you!
The sections coming apart. Sow velcro into the sections. At the lowest part when they're together. It'll stop them from coming apart easily.
So smart! Thank you so much for the suggestion, we really do appreciate it and you watching!
@@mikeandheather no problem. If you wanted you could also sow ykk grade zipper on it. You wouldn't have to worry about the velcro loosing it's strength over time and the zipper would be at the lowest point posible on the cushions so really no chance of being able to feel it when your moving around on it.
Ykk zippers are what they put on motorcycle clothing so it doesn't come apart in a crash.
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN WE WERE BUILDING OUT OUR VAN?! 😂Just kidding but in all seriousness, you have a lot of great ideas! Thank you so much!@@noahvillalpando
Once again, a quality video. Totally relate to always making changes. I'm currently working on my third bed arrangement! Love my 2013 Transit Connect!
That is awesome! Feel free to send us bed build suggestions 😂 Thank you for the kind words and for watching, we really appreciate it! Best of luck in your continued van build!
All great changes-thank you for sharing 👋🐾
Thank you for watching 😊
Is there any way yall can give us the measurement from the floor to the window sill? I know yall covered it up, but I think you can feel when the hard metal stops :D
Hi! Great info and video. How did you get the cabinet over the wheel well? Thank you!
Thank you for the kind words and for watching, we really do appreciate it! We cut out the lower back portion of the cabinet to fit over the wheel well. You can see the process in this video here: th-cam.com/video/qFu8bW_nIdI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WslymQMxAK8rDyIK&t=1117
Hope that helps! Thanks again for watching 😊
Learning curves are fun! 😀Thank you for sharing, the futon idea is brilliant 👏
Thank you so much for watching! We really do appreciate it and you!
You guys should look into lining your electrical area with an emf sheilding material appropriate for the frequency that's being put out. There are a lot of options out there but definitely since you're sleeping on top of it I would get a Gauss meter and see what the levels are and go from there.
Loving all the good info. Once I find the right van, I know where to go for the best ideas!
You are too kind 🥰 Happy to help! We can't wait for you to get your van!
Would you install a tv
I just saw a cool idea for a sink: she uses a "plastic oil drain pan" Her Van is the BEST No Build Minivan Camper Van Creation I’ve Seen, check it out super clever.
You are right! That is a cool idea for a sink! We will have to check it out 😊
btw you don't need a second alternator, you can - but a little pricy. Just get a DC to DC charger for your 6v batteries, lithium would be better. Depending on your configuration you may get away with an isolator.
Thank you for the suggestion, we really appreciate it!
I think u can get a charger the wires to ur alternator to charger a battery or u couldve run 2 wites from ur battery if it was the same kind i think
Thank you for the suggestion! We really appreciate it and you watching!
What size battery you have for your solar
We have 2 6 volt lithium batteries! Hope that helps 😊 Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it!
I watched another youtuber's video who claimed they wished they had used drawers in their cabinet for easier access and less having to reach down and in to get stuff. You could possibly graft in some drawers from a thrift store dresser with a bit of work.
Great idea! Thank you so much for the suggestion! We really do appreciate it and you watching 😊
