When I was 20, I did a week of construction repairs at his house during his Ford Fairlane years. I told his assistant I was a big fan. one day Andrew came out and talked to me for 20 minutes, he brought some actor type photos and personalized them for me. I was surprised to realize it was all an act. He went into character for a minute and it was awesome. Love this guy forever.

Scorsese's greatest mistake as a director was in not casting the *Diceman* in the *Irishman* --- he would have killed it if Martin had cast him as a character in that film.
Would also love to have seen Dice in *Pulp Fiction* by Tarantino --- Quentin could have easily written a part for him in that film; it would have revived his entire career I believe. Was really pissed when HBO dropped *VINYL* tho --- that show was awesome, and the soundtrack was outta this world!
God, we sure miss you Mr. King ---- you were one CLASS act! 😔

Aww you are right on point, I second your sentiment 💯 x a zillion. Yes, Andrew could have killed in Pulp Fiction and the Irishman, he never have gotten props for being a thespian actor, and if you haven’t seen him in Blue Jasmin with Cate Blanchett, pls do when you have a chance, fantastic movie all around.

I’m not sure how true this is, but I once read that Tarantino wrote the movie “From Dusk ‘Til Dawn” with Dice in mind to play the part that George Clooney ended up playing.

@@AFMMarcelD I also believe that the *Diceman* would have been a great character on the *SOPRANOS* ---- as *Tony Soprano's* "older brother" lets say? Imagine those two together?
And believe me, Andrew would have that "Brooklyn Accent" down to a _science!_
Ahhhh... so many characters this guy was not considered for....I dont know WTF those Casting Directors/Directors out there in Hollywood do? Definitely NOT their job. 😒
