Didn’t really know Dice but watched the series and loved him. Love that he’s come back and been successful again
Dice is very misunderstood and that is why he became famous. His Dice persona is an act. I once heard him say that he would never hang around the Dice persona because he was demented.
I have heard one opinion that his Dice persona is part of his identity or has become part of Andrew Silverstein from Brooklyn. I have a family member from Brooklyn during the 40's and 50's and never sounded like him. Maybe the dialect changed later on when Andrew Silverstein was there.
Whatever it is I have enjoyed his stand-up and the Dice serious is great with some unique surrealism.
There are a lot of Brooklyn dialects. His is definitely one that exists.
Of course he's gonna say that, everybody hates the character.

This guy doesn't get enough credit as a comedian. When you consider how much he puts into every show & how many people he reaches...he is truly a legend.

Well, he is 60. Many people age a lot between 50 and 60. I always laugh at comments like these. People on tv are still human. How many 50-60 year olds do you meet in real life that look like they are 30? We all get old, most look it. It’s a small percentage of people that age gracefully. Most don’t.

@sabbathtribute He has a bad left eye,..(pause it and you can catch it). These stupid glasses as you call them,.. don't magnify the problem like normal glasses would, they blur or mask the problem. He doesn't wear glasses to see better, he wears these to help hide the bad eye . You can clearly tell on close-ups, but not so much far away.
