Our last two stops on our recent Istrian adventure were Porec and Groznjan! We loved these sweet towns so much, both with so much charm and beauty. Porec has become quite a popular destination in Croatia, and is among the top visited places in the country. Groznjan is a quaint hilltop town home to a little ove 700 residents, but it's known as the town of artists because of all of the ateliers and artists who call it home.
Explore these wonderful places with us and enjoy beautiful Croatia!

Very interesting and cute places - I love the way you all talk about them, the way you describe the spirit of each town / village. But for me the best moment in the video is when Ivan kisses your head and you both say "Happy sunny day". This is so romantic and just beautiful! Great relations between you all are visible and they influence the whole channel. Thanks a lot and best wishes from Wroclaw in Poland !

I can also recommend the east, which unfortunately often gets overlooked. The small fortress town of Pican, a former bishopric, and also Labin (old town) and Rabac

I am half Croatian (father from Zagreb), but I’m learning Croatian now at the age of 34 😅
Sviđa mi se vaše kanal ❤️Možete li imati više spoken Hrvatski? Could you plz feature more spoken Croatian? I benefit a lot from the subs that you have ;) and I love your language, it is not as difficult as I thought. And thanks for a very inspirational video on your language trip that you made. I agree, not overly focus on grammar. Better to immerge into the language and get exposure, and then slowly understand grammatical concepts 😎

I’m trying to find my roots but it’s taking a while to learn the words and phrases.

The biggest challenge in Porec is trying to find a restaurant not owned by Serbs or Kosovo Albanians. Its truly a multicultural paradise where Croatian culture is frowned upon and German tourists are not necessarily welcome. Porec definitely is a vestige of the Croatia's Yugoslav past where Serbian migrants maintain and nurture the region's Istrian/Italian identity.

A lot of properties in Grisignana in 1965 were given to Artists because they were the empy houses left by the autoctonous Italian population of Istria, that was living there for 2000 years..
