If there’s anything a bad album should do, its to make you laugh. The worst thing it can do is make you bored shitless.

Exactly. Humor must come naturally, it can't be forced, otherwise it wouldn't work. It must be a thing of the moment.

about philosophy of the world: i read multiple times that they basically were forced to make music by their religious dad who got told by god that they were going to be famous musicians. but the duaghters didnt want to so they half assed it to make their dad happy (or make him shut up, who knows). but drugs werent involved. dad was right tho, they are actually famous for their music

Here's another list idea similar to this: Albums/Bands that are intentionally goofy and stupid, but still good.
Something like LMFAO where they're clearly just being as dumb as they possibly can be, but can still make bops through said dumbness.

That's where I'd put Angus McSix, personally. That project is hated by a ton of power metal heads, but I love how completely unserious all of it is. And I won't lie, most of the songs actually kinda slap.

I didn't know about Angelic 2 the core. I gave it a listen and oh my god, what an absolute masterpiece. I was genuinely speechless for the entire run of the thing. It's really something else. The fact that the man was bloody serious about the project makes it even better.
What an album. Pure genius. Bravo.

The entire discography for Abandon All Ships is a good candidate for this. They have some songs which I actually think are good, but all of it is just ridiculous overproduced electronicore with some of the simplest guitar riffs, worst harsh vocals and most hilarious autotune ever put on record and it's entertaining as hell.
I wish they properly reunited for real

I LOVE you for the Shaggs record. I'm literally hunched over, laughing uncontrollably, and trying to type this message. It sounds like they're playing untuned instruments. Additionally, they sound like they're playing with separate metronomes, all with varying timings.

Dude, I remember listening to that Corey Feldman album on Spotify, and it was one of the most memorable album listening experiences I’ve ever had. It was like descending into the nine circles of hell, to the point where the album actually brainwashes you into thinking that some songs on it are actually good. I’ve never had that effect with any other piece of music. Truly a unique musical experience in all of the wrong ways possible.
Also, you should look up the story of the Shaggs. It’s fascinating. Basically the band was started by these three sisters from Connecticut whose father made them formed the band because a relative of theirs had a hand reading by a psychic that told them that they would become famous. Again, it’s wild! And one of the songs off of that Shaggs album have actually become a bit of a running joke with one of my cousins.

      1. Sounds different but still has that Korn essence 🤔
      2. Wait... This is not Korn, this doesn't feel right 🤨🫤
      And
      3. This makes me wanna... If i hear this song again i'm gonna throw myself to the street totally naked, with just a pair of Nikes and a sock in my dick, with a fucking wig and shades like that crazy taxi driver from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers video and i'll start dancing and twerking and shaking my ass and my balls like crazy under the traffick lights and the bridge next to Walmart in Central Hatillo

Yaaaay, your cynical and sarcastic nature goes perfectly with these type of videos. Honestly, most modern rap albums fall into this category, and I love older hip hop.
Short fun story: In 2013 ish we helped some rappers, neighbors in our practice space, master their track once. Endlessly doing retakes and adjusting levels on “Yeah! What nigga!?! Motherfucka! Yeah nigga what!?” was hilarious. As a white guy, telling someone to put more feeling into their “Nigga!!” was amazing lol fun times

A fun fact about The Shaggs: Supposedly the band started because the Father of the three girls visited a fortune teller who told him his daughters would be in a famous band. He then got them instruments and forced them to record the first thing that came to mind, resulting in the album that made them "famous". They were also a main influence on Kurt Cobain of Nirvana and Frank Zappa.

I konw I might be alone in this opinion, but in my opinion chocolate starfish and the hot dog flavoured water would be one of my picks for a list like this, probablly because of the vocal delivery from Fred Durst, which ends up being so cringey that makes me want to laugh out fucking loud (take as an example te "ladies and gentlemen" part at the start of the song "hot dog", it's fucking hilarious), But I still think your list is absouletly great, cheers 🤘🤘🤘
