Honestly I’m surprised you guys never mentioned Devourment even in the beginning. Reading the lyrics from Butcher the weak is genuinely some of the most nauseated I’ve felt while reading lyric’s especially baby killer, the first time reading those lyrics my stomach churned and knotted up lol

I haven’t heard most of this stuff (basically just Autopsy, Carcass and Phobophilic - which RIPS btw) and not sure how much I’ll actually get around to checking out since brutal DM and grind aren’t styles I’m usually big into but at the very least Aborted is going on my list, along with going back further with Cattle Decap (only heard the last 3 so far). This was a really cool team-up. I'd be up for more of these Thralls of Meltdown colaboration if you guys want. Regurgitate was definitely a sick band. never saw City of the LIving Dead/Gates of Hell till after hearing that sample. Was pretty excited to realise what was it actually was afterwards. haha....but yes, some great deathgrind, grindcore, whatever you want to call it, even if its' not something I've played in a while. For funny sick stuff I have to throw out PUngent Stench. Their music can be like Autopsy a bit but more rocking, to the point where they definitely go into "death 'n' roll" territory at times, but in a way that I think is pretty cool. What I like about their lyrics is that as well as being very disgusting (and sometimes quite challenging) stuff, each song usually also tells a story of some kind...like a vile stomach-cbhurning tale of crime and degradation and depravity, like the kind of thing you'd tell to your friends to really gross them out or make them think you're a really sick freak. Their music also rocks. BTW, it's because of the United States that you see that "violence cranked up, sex scenes cranked way down" stuff in media. In Europe it's kind of the other way round ... the TV is full of bare breasts, even in the daytime, but you don't really see that many guns.

Saw Primitive Man live in a small pub in Bristol, England. The stage was basically on the floor and the bathroom was next to the stage. I went for a piss and saw Ethan in the bathroom before he walked out and then I came out and stood basically next to them as they played to a small room crammed eith sweaty metalheads 😂 Was a show I'll never forget. Even got a longsleeve and a free patch afterwards. Funnily enough, I seem to have a thing of meeting the bands I'm seeing in the bathrooms of the venues. I saw Sumac in Brighton one time and went for a piss in the bar nextdoor to the venue, washed my hands only to notice that the guy next to me washing his hands was only Aaron B Turner, who indpired my music and music taste so much. He was cool and we had a chat ehile walking back to the venue. I told him Sumac is one of the loudest bands I've seen live, even though they are only a three piece! He laughed, but mist likely wanted to escape me haha! Primitive Man are insanely loud and heavy though too.
A few gross bands/albums not mentioned: Miasmatic Necrosis, Last Days of Humanity, Pathologist, Disgorge (Mexico), Waco Jesus, Devourment (Molesting the Decapitated), Goat Penis (Decapitation Philosophy), Brujeria, Plasma, Lord Gore, Nekro Drunks, and Cemetery Lust.
When it came to most disgusting, Last Days, Disgorge and Devourment were the first ones that came to mind. Completely forgot about Miasmatic Necrosis when making my list, their last record was nasty as hell. 🤘

Nice One, some very worthy picks! I always think of the "Pathological Compilation" when thinking about most disgusting Metal stuff. Pathological Records was a short lived Record Label only releasing from 1989 till 1994 and being some kind of american sublabel for the good old Earache Records, which they invented for the real grossed out stuff. This was their initial Hit Path 001! So on this Record You´ll find bands like Carcass (remember: 1989s Carcass) Godflesh, Coil, Stretch Heads and the absolutely terrible Terminal Cheesecake, whose "Angels in Pigtails" is another candidate for being the most fucked up album ever made imo, though maybe not thaaat Metal. Oh yeah, and Napalm Death is on the album too, but they seem so mild and tame on here ... And Yes! Pharmacist is AAWWEESSOOMMEE! - All of their Stuff! - Waiting for more!
For me, the hardest covers for me are ones with self harm. I’ve been getting into DSBM And it’s easily my least favorite part is how many freshly cut wrists I have to see.
Oh, God, tell me about it… this is partially why my favourite DSBM band is NONE: they don’t have that shit on their album covers. They just have a landscape and that’s it. Fill in the blanks, use your imagination, etc. The Canadian depressive black metal band Begotten isn’t too bad for that either, although they have had a noose on one of the album covers, but without any body in it or anything.

A pretty nasty one is Abhorrent Stench of Posthumous Gastrorectal Desecration from Epicardiectomy. My favorite track is Ulcerous Cadaveric Decrepitation just because I find the name to be amusing.
Shitfun is disgusting because it's shit, but that atmosphere on Mental Funeral is unmatched for me (Safe for Infester - To the Depths of Degradation). From the slimy slugfrogbeastcreature to the insane drum riffs and the audacity for a doom death band to completely drop out the distortion multiple times... Not to mention Chris' vocals.
Butcher ABC's Butchered at Birth Day was the first time I listened to goregrind when I was around 15 and listening to it made me feel physically sick. 20 years later and I can't get enough of it all XD

Necrotic Nick- I was talking more about it being the last one for awhile that didn't have an alternate cover. It wasn't until Tomb of the Mutilated that they had to do more tamed down art. I only had the original CD of Butchered (which I wore out to the point it wouldn't play anymore) and when I bought it the cover was just out in the open for everyone to see. I never got to see the butcher's paper cover though.
it is amazing to me how the talk of sex in america, is open but not at the same time. If you talk about it online, no limits. Talk to someone in person about it, you get given eyes. Of course it is for good reasons, but at the same time t's odd

I actually vomited from an album by “rot” it had a real picture of a kid with jungle rot on their face. When i first heard the “horror sounds“ i had wondered if some were real. I like gnaw their tongues… i know some is disturbing.
The album NV by Gnaw their tongues and Dragged into Sunlight is dark and terrifying but made all the more awful through their use of samples of serial killers talking about what they did. Amazing music but the samples are too much for me . That's my contribution , thanks guys , awesome you all got together
I know you guys aren't fans of Slamming Brutal Death Metal but all the most disgusting album art is definitely from Slam bands. Although Goregrind has it beat when it comes to actual human gore. There's countless goregrind covers that are just gruesome crime scenes and autopsy photos.
there was a copy on wax of Posthumous Humiliation at my local records store for a LOOOONNGtime and a debated about getting it, as I just cant be bothered with that anymore, im not 16 I dont think that real gore is necessary (reek is cartoon imo and I was 19 when that came out so it was perfect), BUT then i listened to the music and was impressed sooooo it had to come home waaahhh

in general DSBM is noooot a genre I've ever paid much attention to. Not my thing.

Necrotic Nick- I was talking more about it being the last one for awhile that didn't have an alternate cover. It wasn't until Tomb of the Mutilated that they had to do more tamed down art. I only had the original CD of Butchered (which I wore out to the point it wouldn't play anymore) and when I bought it the cover was just out in the open for everyone to see. I never got to see the butcher's paper cover though.

The album NV by Gnaw their tongues and Dragged into Sunlight is dark and terrifying but made all the more awful through their use of samples of serial killers talking about what they did. Amazing music but the samples are too much for me . That's my contribution , thanks guys , awesome you all got together

I know you guys aren't fans of Slamming Brutal Death Metal but all the most disgusting album art is definitely from Slam bands. Although Goregrind has it beat when it comes to actual human gore. There's countless goregrind covers that are just gruesome crime scenes and autopsy photos.

there was a copy on wax of Posthumous Humiliation at my local records store for a LOOOONNGtime and a debated about getting it, as I just cant be bothered with that anymore, im not 16 I dont think that real gore is necessary (reek is cartoon imo and I was 19 when that came out so it was perfect), BUT then i listened to the music and was impressed sooooo it had to come home waaahhh
