Just stumbled across your tutorial. Absolutely loved it. Mozart is my favourite composer and going through your tutorial has given me such an incite into the aria's construction. Excellent! I'm 77 and still sing but mainly folk music although I would like to try some of the arias of Papageno from the Magic Flute.

That was very interesting. Maybe I'll give it a try if I ever get the house to myself. But first I need to memorise how to pronounce Italian even when I don't know what it means, learn to instinctively roll Rs, and hit the flageolet like never before 😉
That's how I started - mimicking Pavarotti with no clue what I was doing! A lot of opera singers aren't fluent in multiple languages either (myself included!!), but opera companies have language coaches who focus on pronunciation. Italian is the best language to sing!! 😁🎶
