@@StuntDill besides making sure the picking was just right (Periphery songs tend to need more precision than moat because their technique is ridiculous), even the most simple Periphery songs are pretty damn hard

I just play the instrument. No proper routine or whatever. I just got a guitar recently and brought my knowledge I picked up on bass over and I can almost nail this. The little bits in between the main riffs are the hardest parts. All I've been doing is trying to learn new songs. If I can't do it I'll come back later. Started with another one bites the dust and now I'm at the point where I can almost play blood eagle.
Learning a chromatic solo like that by ear has to be incredibly difficult

@@andrewwhitmore8756 Nah, generally their 7-string tracks are drop G# unless proven otherwise. This song doesn't sound "pits of hell" low, but the riffing and mix is just monstrous.

Before I say what I was going to say, I just want to say how fucking incredible it is you can play this so quickly after its' released. Awesome job. You are sick! But, I swear I saw Mark playing that immediate riff after the solo a bit differently, with a slide/return at the bottom, probably between the 1st-3rd fret, though you play it probably more efficiently up a string with hammer ons.
Im hella late to this comment but whatever. Most tabs that come out within a few days arent gonna be exactly how the artist plays it. He simplified a few things but overall its pretty damn close to the tab we have now.
