Just so fucking good - ive seen you play twice live and both times your performance was pretty much perfection. So consistent and tasteful. I just can't compliment you enough. That flam on the bass drum too - chef's kiss!
It's a magic combination of it being a dope snare (14x7 Tama John Tempesta signature), good heads (Evans UV2 on top, snareside 300 on bottom), John Douglass tuning it exceptionally well & engineering the whole kit exceptionally well with multiple sets of room mics in a very well built, well treated room, me hitting very hard rimshots on it, pretty consistently w/ pretty large drumsticks & Declan White mixing it exceptionally well. No samples at all other than a little bit of a kick out sample for some added low end on the kick.
