A little video about my experience leaving Japan to get plastic surgery in Seoul, South Korea!! I decided to have a little tourist moment and explore the city, even though I still had the nose cast from my nose job / rhinoplasty. I was worried about people's reactions, but it was actually a really nice time and I was so happy to enjoy the vibes of the aesthetic cafes in Insadong!! It was so cosy!!
Then I enjoyed exploring Gyeongbokgung Palace, even though it was closed last time I came! So happy. I'm not that into things like kdramas or kpop, so I didn't expect to love Korea so much, but I really did end up loving it and will certainly be back!

I was so close to visiting South Korea and Japan at one point. I'm a Motion Capture actor and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. ☹That would've been a real dream come true to work in Japan and visit South Korea.

Yeah dudes. I helped someone get through sinus/facial surgery a year or two ago that was medically necessary - and holy smokes it was an insane recovery period in every possible way. I have no judgment for people who want to modify their body but I just can't imagine voluntarily going through that. at least with body mods like (most) piercings and tattoos the pain is a lot more temporary and tame

I think you're perfect without nose surgery but I know you're going to be the cutest and I completely support people's decision making whenever it comes to their own selves & doing what makes you happy/happier in life.

Big props to you filming with your nose cast outside! Like it's just a part of life when you get a procedure done your world doesn't have to stop completely and you get to enjoy your visit instead of staying indoors all week!

From what I know from other TH-camrs, it'll take a year until the swollen tissues go completely back. So the nose will change in the next 12-24 months
I had a rhinoplasty done as well and while the healing process depends on the person it’s usually after 6 months that the nose is fully healed 😁

glad you got to visit the palace! if you go next time and wear hanbok, you'll get in for free! (although... renting a hanbok for a couple hours might actually cost more than the entrance ajdkfksjsk but they're both inexpensive)

I lived in Korea in 2008 and nine, as well as 2014 and 15. I miss it all the time, but I am so so glad and excited to see you experiencing some of my favorite spots.

I saw a comment about the nose cast looking like you're a member of Cats, and honestly with your hair curled up and out like that, it really adds to that look lol. Yasu is the sweetet, he's been there for all your mental health struggles and supporting your decisions to do what you must for your looks to feel right to you, that is a man who cares about you and not how you look and will always see someone beautiful because he loves you exactly as you are through each and every change.

I just got top surgery and had to put a ban on meme videos and tell my girlfriend to not be so funny to minimise laughing because it hurt 😂 I get you on the mask thing, I had drains and like I don’t think anyone wanted to see bags of my blood randomly just out and about. Yasu is so sweet, my girlfriend said the same thing that it was weird wandering around alone in a new place when I was camped out in the hotel.

I've always wondered whats going to happen when you're going on a plane, and you just recently had plastic surgery o.o do you need some kind of before and after photos for proof? do doctors give you some kind of note for the airline peeps? or do they just accept your passport as your ID after you tell them you had plastic surgery?

I can't say I'm always that successful at doing the same, having very slowly realized over the course of 2022 that the previous two years had a far worse affect on my confidence and mental state than I'd even noticed during the pandemic's beginning, or it's peak, or even it's messy and awkward "conclusion". 2023 hasn't been as bad thankfully, I've even gone out several dozen times ;p I won't do the usual "yOu aLrEaDy lOoKeD nIcE" spiel, tempted as I am, but I sincerely hope the alterations make you happier and more comfortable :3

You're beautiful young lady, nothing wrong with a few adjustments. To stay looking young keep the sun out from your skin and use sunscreen and hat when you do. Wash your face daily and apply lotion everyday rubbing and massaging it all over. Don't eat lots of sugar as it can clog the pores and acne which inturn cause scaring.
I'm 40 but I'm told I look like a college age guy.
