- That's right my friends, it's time for nose job number 2. I went to Braun Plastic Surgery Clinic for a revision rhinoplasty and filmed the whole process, from before/after photos, to the CT scan, consultation, before and after surgery, the recovery period, downtime and now the results a month later! Hope you enjoy!
Before my first nose job I was an extremely insecure person, and so I'm really glad I've been able to do this.

Even without surgery I once barely woke up and talked to my roommate in full French when she’s GERMAN 😭😭😭 and I had the nerves to ask the question THREE TIMES before getting it 😭
On the other hand, when I got out of surgery I couldn't speak anything but Japanese -- I was only learning at the time and didn't speak a word in my other two native languages so they had to get a translator for me 😭
This was honestly really interesting to see the sorta, behind the scenes instead of showing just before photos and after, You were honestly so brave i would been crying the whole time, it looks amazing!

I think both noses were/are cute but the main thing is that you're happy! It's your nose so your opinion is the one that really matters!!

Maybe it's time to actually accept yourself and fight against the patriarchal standards placed on women that have you spending so much money and time on makeup to hide yourself and also getting unnecessary surgical procedures which is a stressor on the human body not to mention the effects of anesthesia possibility of infection etc
@@kidsofyesterday17 ok but i would risk it all just to be perfectly pretty. to wake up and be 100% satisfied with everything on my face. i know this is gonna sound bad, but i will never just 'accept myself' because i cant accept going through life not being insanely pretty, like its just not going to happen. i cant live my life like that. ive wanted plastic surgery since i was 10 years old and nothings going to change that !! :)
@@kidsofyesterday17 I'd beg to differ and say that the insecurity and frustration one is burdened by has a much larger effect on the body (and mind). It's easier to tell others to accept their features when looking from the outside in, but you're not the one constantly nitpicking yourself in the mirror or pictures.

I am not a fan of plastic surgery because it’s always kinda about influence from the outside even if you’re doing it for yourself. I don’t like how it’s getting normalized.

My nose has a bump and is crooked. I used to be so insecure about it, and still am with some photos, but if I look at myself the way my loved ones do, without appearance first, it makes me love it. That being said, thank you for being very transparent. No face is “perfect” until you believe it is, so I hope your confidence has been built and you accept your perfection now. I would consider a surgery and yours looks perfect, but I’m also in all honesty thankful parts of this video scares me from it!! 😂❤ God bless and good healing

Trying to pay you to get big ol honkers for the content is insane, wildly dodgy 😬 I got surgery around the same time as you and I have a needle phobia too and they couldn’t find a vein for the cannula for ages so I was laying there as they tried various parts of my limbs and I couldn’t stop making alien abduction jokes because it was so awkward and I was scared of the needle SO CRINGE 😂 I have a high pain threshold but the discomfort is real especially when it affects your sleep, you just feel so over it. Happy for you that it was worth it and you are happier now, it sounds like you had a lot of trauma around it.

@@mikanmandarin it sucked like they tried my hands, my wrists (that one hurts so bad) then my arms and the whole time I was like “TaKe Me To YoUr LeAdEr” and no one laughed 😂 like I still have a bruise on my arm from it almost seven weeks down the line they could have at least pitty laughed 😂

I've had stitches in my mouth/lips so I totally felt your pain when you mentioned not being able to laugh. I remember the slightest smile hurting tremendously, immediately forcing me to stop. I've always thought you're cute as a button [i think that's the saying? 😂] and look like a little doll...pre and post surgery. As long as you're happy & the results make you feel confident, that's what matters. Seeing the recovery process just shows your desire and determination for the procedure so way to go for making it through that scary time!! Your boyfriend is so sweet and thoughtful, showering you with little pick-me-up gifts. He had stood by your side and is the support system you need. - especially during times like these❤ it's almost noon here in America, so GOOD NIGHT to you both!
Istg the amount of sponsored plastic surgery videos I've seen where influencers get pressured into doing more surgery is so upsetting. So I'm not surprised that Mikan had that experience with that suspicious clinic. A lot of the dodgy ones seem to push for crazy transformations. Also asking the patient to sign an NDA? WTF??

Yes ! Surgeons will always find something to "correct" while they're creating impossible beauty standards. I'm not a fan of vlogging about plastic surgery. Because no matter how much you explain yourself, it can give people an idea, especially if they had a similar nose. I know you could just say "This is just about me I don't want to be a rolemodel" but unfortunately that's out of their power, especially when they talk so positively about it. I know that's just how they feel, but that's why it's dangerous to share. Be open about it. But maybe don't make a whole sponsored vlog 😔
It is so sad plastic surgery is getting normalized. So many women influenced to think part of their bodies are imperfections or not good enough. And by getting this kind of surgery more women get more influenced and it is like an endless cycle.....

The freakiest thing I noticed with some clinics is they swap out the surgeon on the day without your knowledge - your consultation is with the top dog, and then they give you whoever is on rotation that day. WILD. So glad you had a great experience!
Yep, I’ve heard of this too. Honestly it’s one of the things that absolutely scares me away from surgery! Obviously it’s not all bad in the sense that the other doctors can be very good too but everyone wants to get done by the top surgeon. But it’s such a level of distrust….I remember hearing about this from a video about a Korean translator who worked at plastic surgery clinics, and her saying when the patient was knocked out sometimes a different doctor came in and did the surgery :/

my 1st plastic surgery (on my ears) was botched as well, like barely any change was made and the stitches that were supposed to disappear never did and they were poking out under my skin and so i had to get a revision surgery

they say doing nose surgery in asia for "not asian noses" is kind of risky in the result because they are less used to them, but they did an amazing work!! I wish to correct my nose a little one day but the idea of not breathing for weeks just freaks me out :0
