On the other hand, when I got out of surgery I couldn't speak anything but Japanese -- I was only learning at the time and didn't speak a word in my other two native languages so they had to get a translator for me 😭
I can’t believe there’s swelling for a whole year! You did so well taking care of your nose post-surgery and it was adorable how Yasu brought you gifts 🥺 My heart is full.
The freakiest thing I noticed with some clinics is they swap out the surgeon on the day without your knowledge - your consultation is with the top dog, and then they give you whoever is on rotation that day. WILD. So glad you had a great experience!
Yep, I’ve heard of this too. Honestly it’s one of the things that absolutely scares me away from surgery! Obviously it’s not all bad in the sense that the other doctors can be very good too but everyone wants to get done by the top surgeon. But it’s such a level of distrust….I remember hearing about this from a video about a Korean translator who worked at plastic surgery clinics, and her saying when the patient was knocked out sometimes a different doctor came in and did the surgery :/
I love how this video is about all the way through the story like how it started and how's it going, feels so complete :) Glad that you told us about all that, slay!
I've had stitches in my mouth/lips so I totally felt your pain when you mentioned not being able to laugh. I remember the slightest smile hurting tremendously, immediately forcing me to stop. As long as you're happy & the results make you feel confident, that's what matters. Seeing the recovery process just shows your desire and determination for the procedure so way to go for making it through that scary time!! Your boyfriend is so sweet and thoughtful, showering you with little pick-me-up gifts. At first I didnt understand why you wanted a second surgery, your nose looked fine to me, but you are looking great and if its making you happier, go for it! ❤ Im glad you didnt get a mayor change, just an improvement. You look beautiful!

It’s so cool how from some angles your nose looks exactly the same and from other angled you can tell it’s very different. They did a great job keeping the integrity of your original face, but enough change that you can notice :)
I feel like your lips look bigger, I know that it didn't really change but they look bigger in a good way. this was very interesting tbh and i'm happy for you!
wow that turned out really well!! you look VERY different. not in a bad, unrecognizable, jarring way. ya seem SO happy with the outcome, and just seeing the way you showed it off at the end... THAT'S the CUTEST thing ever. happy for you~

Dang! Best desition of your life!! Both of them!! First surgery, glad you did it. Second one- perfect nose! I never even knew you had your nose done. I thoght it was your best feture. Now its more blended in your face. Its beautifull!!. Take care!!
When you put comparison pictures next to each other at the end, I could definitely see a big difference already! It’s great that you feel more confidence. Is it weird that I feel proud of you? I never really felt comfortable with Plastic Surgery because most of the time it was people doing it for someone else and then later regretting it. I guess I tend to forget that people like to change small things about themselves because it makes them feel more confident. I genuinely feel like this video has made me feel better about plastic surgery as a whole and more understanding as a person. 💕
Wow, your post surgery/post swollen nose looks so cute! It 100% looks so different compared to the 1st rhinoplasty. The way you do your makeup is so pretty!
I was slightly anxious because I liked you nose, but it turned out beautiful، It’s not a drastic change, I could see you were going for a subtle revision, and they nailed it. You also mentioned fear that your philtrum might lengthen but i dont see anything like that, congrats on your results 👍🏻
looking good. i have the hook nose myself so totally understand. also, thank you for being there for Stan in his time of need despite not feeling 100 percent yourself.
Gentle reminder that It's ok to mod your default body is gonna be dust anyways so have fun with it and enjoy it with whatever vision you decide to follow❤🎉
Your nose looks fabulous, it’s like the most tiny change but has still changed your whole face, it really suits your whole look now, also yaski is so cute and supportive ❤
they say doing nose surgery in asia for "not asian noses" is kind of risky in the result because they are less used to them, but they did an amazing work!! I wish to correct my nose a little one day but the idea of not breathing for weeks just freaks me out :0
You do look different and so so good 🤍 people told me the same in the sense of “u don’t look different”, nah gurl you changed and that’s the sense of it
The adjustment that they did to your nose were really really good. To be honest with the narrow bridge that you had before didn't fit your face so well because your face is round. The nose that they gave you is perfect for your round face and makes your face more childlike. From the side the way they lifted your nose is so beautiful and they hid the nostrils on the side which made the nose fit your face more and more. Now your nose fits in with the rest of your features and compliments it rather then taking attention away from your other childlike features.
Wow! this is at testiment of the grass is greener. my septum is naturally the same height as my nostrils and it's a tiny button nose with a short bridge. It's suits my face, but sometimes when I look in the mirror I pull my septum down and think it looks so so cute and reduces my philtrum. (It's actually normal length but right on the border of 'ideal', but looks far longer because of my shorter nose). I liked your old nose, your new nose and your revised nose! All look lovely and it's very nice to see you happy with the end result! You look very cute and your top lip looks very voluminous!
I really enjoyed how you expressed your thoughts and feelings on being a content creator and how you should be able to keep certain aspects of your life private. I definitely feel that as a content creator you deserve privacy. I feel like any person on the internet is at risk of having their boundaries disrespected and I wish more people would respect the desire for privacy. I think there is a difference between not talking about an aspect of ones life online vs denying that you had any work done. But there needs to be less stigma and judgement about getting it done. The amount of shaming I see in my in person and online interactions… its understandable why some people choose not to disclose when they get something done tbh. Thanks for sharing your journey. ❤
You were right with the boob job, i got one 14 yearsago and i got implant illness and have new chronic illnesses as a result, im having them removed in November!!
I’m so glad it went well and honestly I have issues with my nose form an injury and it’s made me actually consider getting it fixed. I’d just resigned myself to being ugly but it feels more possible to be happier one day with it. Also side note but love how you curled the front of your hair it looks so cute
That nose is so cute!!! What kind of anesthesia did you have? Local or general? I'm not afraid of needles, but post-op convalescence is just HELL for me. You were so brave !!! Brave for doing it, and most and formost so brave for showing us everything, even when you were so vulnerable while returning to your room. You were suffering and I felt it. Thank you Mikan 🥰 The other day I was on Instagram like "my god her nose is so cute" and now it mays seems cuter in my opinion after seeing all the suffering you got through to have it 🥰 Nobody should be mistreated for doing surgery. Clothes, haircut, make up, tattoos, piercings, surgery... There's no place for others' opinion. Ppl should mind their own business and stop transfering their insecurities on others!!!
I live in Japan and I'm in a similar situation, but I have problems finding a place where I can get a facial X-ray or CT scan. As I'm looking for a doctor in Korea, and doing the consultations online, they want me to send, at least, a X-ray to asses the surgery, but, here in Japan, as I don't have a medical reason or doctor's notice to get it, I'm having problems to find a place to get it done. It's a never ending cicle.
Wait no way! I saw a reel of you with pink hair, and I thought, damn you look SO good with pink hair and it almost inspired me to dye my own hair pink!

I loved how you even showed how you looked after the surgery and was so real about the experience. Everyone is different and everyone should do what they are comfortable with. I also want to say you are truly beautiful inside and out, and your videos make my day 🌸🌸🌸
Dang! Best desition of your life!! Both of them!! First surgery, glad you did it. Second one- perfect nose! I never even knew you had your nose done. I thoght it was your best feture. Now its more blended in your face. Its beautifull!!. Take care!!
I can definitely tell a big difference, but it doesn't seem drastic, if that makes sense. The shape suits your face really well! ❤
I think your new nose is perfect, you look even more beautiful.
You look beautiful Mikan!! Before and after :)
looking good. i have the hook nose myself so totally understand. also, thank you for being there for Stan in his time of need despite not feeling 100 percent yourself.
Getting her priorities straight with the milk tea 😂
I don’t even remember asking that AHAHAHAA I was cracking up editing
Gentle reminder that It's ok to mod your default body is gonna be dust anyways so have fun with it and enjoy it with whatever vision you decide to follow❤🎉
Your nose looks fabulous, it’s like the most tiny change but has still changed your whole face, it really suits your whole look now, also yaski is so cute and supportive ❤
you looked so magical at the end, also v cute when you were practising your smile ❤
It looks so beautiful! I didn't even think anything was wrong with your last one, but this is beyond stunning! It suits your face so much😮
guurrrll your content is on fire right now! the shot after the surgery is so funny😂😍
You had a middle eastern nose and its was beautiful, what you have now is beautiful too. there just two different types of beauty.
they say doing nose surgery in asia for "not asian noses" is kind of risky in the result because they are less used to them, but they did an amazing work!! I wish to correct my nose a little one day but the idea of not breathing for weeks just freaks me out :0
Despite being post surgery, you can still speak/understand Japanese. Amazing! Language goals!
Omg the end result looks so good! Like such a smal change makes such a difference! I love the new look on you so much! 🎀🩷
You do look different and so so good 🤍 people told me the same in the sense of “u don’t look different”, nah gurl you changed and that’s the sense of it
oh my god the flashbacks i had when you showed your childhood photos 😭 sweet little child
Yasu takes care of you so well 😢❤ you guys are such a beautiful couple
The adjustment that they did to your nose were really really good. To be honest with the narrow bridge that you had before didn't fit your face so well because your face is round. The nose that they gave you is perfect for your round face and makes your face more childlike. From the side the way they lifted your nose is so beautiful and they hid the nostrils on the side which made the nose fit your face more and more.
Now your nose fits in with the rest of your features and compliments it rather then taking attention away from your other childlike features.
I think both noses suit you. The before is more natural but the new one is cute!
IT LOOKS SO GOOD!! that mustve been like so scary i hate needlessss but like i can see your confidence shine
Wow! this is at testiment of the grass is greener. my septum is naturally the same height as my nostrils and it's a tiny button nose with a short bridge.
You were right with the boob job, i got one 14 yearsago and i got implant illness and have new chronic illnesses as a result, im having them removed in November!!
the after suits your face sm you're adorable 😄
I DID NOT EXPECT TO SEE STAN AAAGGGHHH!!!!
I’m so glad it went well and honestly I have issues with my nose form an injury and it’s made me actually consider getting it fixed. I’d just resigned myself to being ugly but it feels more possible to be happier one day with it. Also side note but love how you curled the front of your hair it looks so cute
she just comeback from war and headed back to Japan and have to be a mother for Stan girl u are amazing also love ur new nose looks good ❤
That nose is so cute!!!
Thank you Mikan 🥰
The other day I was on Instagram like "my god her nose is so cute" and now it mays seems cuter in my opinion after seeing all the suffering you got through to have it 🥰
Nobody should be mistreated for doing surgery. Clothes, haircut, make up, tattoos, piercings, surgery... There's no place for others' opinion. Ppl should mind their own business and stop transfering their insecurities on others!!!
Your before fits your face better. And I’m sure the original was even more complimentary as well as natural looking.
girl the picture of u with dan and Phil is so iconic I cannot
WAKE UP MIKAN POSTED 🗣️
Came out super well and cute! But I especially love the photos you’re turning out now with super confidence! Modeling game up 💯
OMG! I LITERALLY SCREAM WHEN I SAW YOUR PICTURE WITH DAN AND PHIL!
It's a never ending cicle.
yes your smile and lips are more noticable now thats the only difference i felt
14:04 the cinematography.... stunning
I love how this is as long as a tv-show😳✌️
i just can't stop stanning
