"I got no TV man." It's a JAIL bro. You're not supposed to have recreation or entertainment. It's supposed to be like time-out, it's punishment, in the hopes that whatever you did you'll reflect on and think twice about ever doing it again. No TV is an incentive to behave.
He hasn't been convicted yet, from what I'm seeing here, only accused. This means punishment isn't supposed to have started yet. However, the witness intimidation is a whole different issue
If a prisoner on remand and threatens somebody outside about his upcoming trial from within remand then, a) take away his privileges of external contact (as a remand prisoner he has way more privileges of external contact than sentenced inmates), and b) tell him that the sentence he gets will be extended by his by 6 months for the first offence and that a second offence means an extra year on top.
There is a channel called "Team Skeptic" and he does a great job on Judge Fleischer videos where he follows these defendants through the entire process. Of course, he doesn't do it for every single case, but this is definitely a case I might send him a DM to follow and report back to us over time. Like you, I feel invested in this guy and want to track him down and see his face when they get the transcripts
I was a telephone technician for a year in a Missouri state prison and all (average was 16000 calls in 24 hours) calls are recorded, but can be flagged for key words which could and did get inmates additional cases.
You know who started the "don't snitch" bullshit? Criminals who want to commit more crimes. If you see someone committing a crime and one of your first five thoughts is I shouldn't snitch, you are literally aiding and abetting a crime. That in and of itself is bad enough, but you are aiding and abetting every criminal out there that seems to think that if the police don't see me, I can't or shouldn't get caught. It's utter bullshit and creates an unhealthy relationship with police and the whole criminal justice system.
Even if he WASN'T threatening anyone with what he said on the phone, he still wasn't allowed to contact the person he called. And simply having someone who did what he did calling would be an implied threat in itself. There's nothing to do? Well suck it up buttercup. You should have realized after ending up in jail in the first place, your actions have consequences.
What ever happened to the word incarceration? Going to jail, punishment for your choice to break the law. It's not an amusement park, it's not seeing your buddies and having a BBQ, it's not I'm a big man outside so I can be a big man inside. What the heck is going on in jail in the 21st Century???!!! 🤔
‘ there is no tv , no books what am I supposed to do?’ - Does he think he’s on a vacation? I guess so - a no work , free meals, free privileges criminal vacation.
I have an old friend who was calling me from Prison telling me about how they were getting high on K2 and other things and I told him you know they're listening to you, he's like oh no not like that, very next day they moved him to another prison lol big dummy!! He still didn't believe he told on himself and the rest of them.
These victims also need to stop answering the phone. Haha, he doesn’t know what to do, no phone, no tv, hahahaha. Don’t do the crime if you can’t to the time, honey.
Immediately was annoyed when the def lawyer pipes up with... "He is only 19" I get its her job but that really isnt a good selling point to go that route.
but what else do you say when there is no defense line? She clearly has to say sth. And in principle, saying that for a 19 years old is difficult to be isolated from family it's a valid point. For most 19 years old it would be very difficult.
It the old lawyer's trope. When the facts are on your side. Argue the facts. When the law is on your side. Argue the law. When you have neither, pound your fist on the table. All she has was pounding her fist on the table. Her defendant's actions didn't leave her anything else to do. She did her job to the best of her ability and did better than I could. And considering the crap that are public defenders in Bear county, TX (Judge Boyd) I'm at least happy that there is competent representation available.
Yanno… the defendant has a lovely voice. He should, instead of using it to threaten people, use it for a career opportunity… something like broadcasting. He needs training… but still.
@00:01 "Common let's go, I got to play fortnight" That's a first I hear from a judge." To the defendant, If you have no TV, no Books, ask or a piece of paper and a pen. Write!
This is a real human-scale problm to solve, isn't it? Nobody in court today is familiar with this particular form of infraction. The court ordered no contact, that's clear amd completely routine. But we're watching as the initial grounds for calling out a violation of that order are passed on to the court, put on the record, and made subject to due process. It's a fascinating study in how formal systems meet the real world.
The no phone privileges are huge for these guys they're already having withdrawals without their cellphones and then taking away the jail phone is better than solitary and he's definitely screwed up now they'll be watching him closely the phone records should be very interesting in the meantime he'll be a little uptight waiting for those records to show up 😂
The first time I saw him in the court I thought I recognized him, but now I’ve realized he just has a remarkable resemblance to a largemouth bass
😂🤣🤣😂😂😂
😆To quote one of Rodney Dangerfields best lines "last time I saw a mouth like that, it had a hook in it"
@@blt3120 I hadn’t heard that in a while thanks lol
Has the same brain power as well
bwhahahaha.... now I cannot stop seeing that!!

He simply doesn’t have the cognitive ability to understand.

Does he understood that his life isn't actually threatened by a lack of tv's?
*Word on the street he doesn't have a trampoline either.* 🤔🤨😎
he didn't think they were listening, they listen to every phone call.
I want the transcripts now I’m invested

@@harrysapienn7911Thank you.. Will surely look it up.

The computers must know what slang is.
He knows he shouldn't be phoning, then to use other prisoners phone privileges 😂
Did they give him their pin just to watch him crash and burn?
That thuggish behavior will eventually catch up to you ( young man).
Judge Fleischer is a cool dude!!! I would enjoy having him as a Friend.
Dudes lookin at the prosecutor lost like … “ thought there was no snitchin in there !” You snitch! 😂 good for that lawyer
You know who started the "don't snitch" bullshit? Criminals who want to commit more crimes. Aww, he's trying to be intimidating.
Just another wannabe thug.
LOVE Judge Fleisher
i have read every book, why do i doubt that.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 maybe because he’s a dolt.
If he could write a single book report I'd pay a penny towards his bail.
trueee hahaha just no way xp maybe he meant the picture books or something xp
Big difference in comic book and a real one.
Should have gone with “colored” every book.
this judge is a hero just fair and to the point trying to protect people sometimes even from themselfs
I've read every book, Sorry but I find that UNBELIEVABLE.
Only the books with pictures. 😉
How could you be so brazen?
Education has nothing to do with it for sure.
No tv, no phone, read all the books……maybe don’t be a dirt bag and go to jail 🙄
I want to know how long he's been in that he read all the books? Especially, since he says there were none. What a putz.
He''s read every book in jail, yet there are no books. Makes sense.
lmao
he is 19, so what?
Oh so manipulative.
Even if he WASN'T threatening anyone with what he said on the phone, he still wasn't allowed to contact the person he called. And simply having someone who did what he did calling would be an implied threat in itself.

Stupid As , Stupid Does.
Nothing going on in that mouth breathing head. You can just see his 5 minute memory and foresight in action.
Exactly what I saw and thought when he showed his face with maw agape too! Hes not going to get with any civilized program any time soon
‘ there is no tv , no books what am I supposed to do?’ - Does he think he’s on a vacation? I guess so - a no work , free meals, free privileges criminal vacation.
sit in your cell and think about your crime and how you are not going to do that again - that would be a good use of your time, young man
Sterling is just realizing the bandwidth of consequence and it appears to be quite the shock.
I would have liked to HEAR what was said. You need to turn up your volume please.
This guy is the lowest of low !!! He threaten witnesses, uses other people phone privileges !!!!!
Great update, hope we get to see the next session.
I will make sure to upload the video next week!!
We want to hear those calls!
Ha! He's living in an Amish paradise now!

"Cmoon time to go play FortNite" LoL this judge is awesome :)
At 19 you’re an adult 😂 what the hell
The truth shall set you "free"?

*Subscribed...Love Judge Fleischer...He is firm, but fair! He is just too cool for school!* 😎
I bet if it was her family member she would want his phone privileges removed
These victims also need to stop answering the phone. Haha, he doesn’t know what to do, no phone, no tv, hahahaha. Don’t do the crime if you can’t to the time, honey.
I really enjoy the comments I get on the channel! Thank you!
He's already interrupted their lives & now, he's in jail. When do they get their lives back?
😂😂😂😂😂 HE SAID NO TV

Judge Fleischer is great but for this jacket I would sentence him for six weeks of public work.
"There is no books".....yeah, I doubt you've ever ready book in your life dude!!🙄🙄
Damn, homie looks like he's got that eye and mouth enlargement filter. He's like the Annoying Orange
Deny all you want, bud, the tapes will reveal all.
There should also be consequence for the other inmates who allowed him to use their codes.
Any updates on this one?
You can't beat the system.
Flouting, Judge, not flaunting. 😂
The jail could send pre-approver emails / texts for him..
Not happening. They're understaffed already.
She should have kept her comment in her mouth. He's not 12. He is 19🤦🏽♀️
Yanno… the defendant has a lovely voice. He should, instead of using it to threaten people, use it for a career opportunity… something like broadcasting. He needs training… but still.
He'll need a 4 yr degree. Is motivated to stick with it?
Many jerks argue with the victims to intimidate them. Hence the no contact order.
Don't mess with the judge
@00:01 "Common let's go, I got to play fortnight" That's a first I hear from a judge." To the defendant, If you have no TV, no Books, ask or a piece of paper and a pen. Write!
I'd say "no electronics or computer access" as well - email, Whatsap, etc., etc..
Judge F is a gamer
