Oh my god.
That was genuinely the best adaptation ive ever seen, the lighting, the shots and the editing all combined to create this masterclass in thomas adaptations.

Again Railway, thank you so much for allow me to voice Will aka Duck’s Driver in this special. The sound effects, music, voice acting, recording, and video quality was so amazing to see. 10/10 on Duck’s crash scene. All of the VA’s did so good, I can’t wait to see what’s next.

This is probably the best one yet. I remember being hyped for the Eight Famous Engines saga, but this is just… just… It’s just on another level. The cinematography, the actual voice acting, the editing. All of it makes such a brilliant adaptation of Duck’s heroic “Close Shave”
This is definitely my favorite remake of A Close Shave. My favorite was the whole runaway scene!
Oh wow! I didn’t expect this adaptation to be this PEAK! You really nailed the action packed tone of this story here! The amount of effort and creativity put into this is just brilliant and astounding. Chefs kiss!
This is gonna be my favourite version of A Close Shave ever! It’s a really great watch and worth the wait!

Probably one of the best in my opinion, however I never would’ve expected the amount of time you put into this it was just a game after all but you made it spectacular, the amount of time effort and dedication to this of you and a crew. All this time we were waiting for. It was SO worth it! This is one of my favorite videos and I probably will be watching this over and over. The fantastic angles, music, sfx, transitions, ect. You really locked in for this and made peak.

I don't even know where to begin with this!!!!
First off
I LOVE That you made alterations to the story
Something that I always love is when people change the story up in an adaptation, even if its just slightly.
You made all these changes and I honestly think they improve the story!
Edward and Duck's friendship was just so wholesome and I love how he's the one to pull Duck out from the barbershop
(Almost symbolises how Edward was there for Duck in his darkest moments)
The call back to Spiteful Gesture was also so surprising but it worked perfectly within the confines of the story!
I also love how you make it seem like so much time passes from when Duck goes to Wellsworth and from when he goes home
Compared to the show where Duck was at Wellsworth for like
A day

I also love how you SEE Diesel being sent away and its just played off as a randon moment.
Not only does it feel really realistic, but it also shows us Diesel getting what he deserves while not taking focus away from Duck.
And it also provides a moment where the audience doesn’t know what to expect.
I felt just as confused and tense as Duck Would've felt and I love it!
The Transitions between shots are so seemless that they surprised me
They were all so smooth!!!
And the slow motion and splitscreen during the chase was so creative and really added to the tense nature of the whole thing.
I also can't get enough of how you put so many engines on Sodor in this period of time.
I love when People take random eras of the show to make a coherent timeline, it's what I do myself
And the music and end credits were fantastic!
I love how you ended on that photo of Duck and Edward
That was a very sweet note to go out on.
Anyway!

Sorry i missed the premiere, but this was absolutely amazing!!! This is your best adaptation by far!!! The voice acting was very good and i loved the editing style, especially in the runaway scene! Overall, Fantastic work Railway!!!!

Why was there a flatcar between Duck and Edward after the former's crash? Just wondering.
Why would Edward need the flatcar? Furthermore, this is good. Nevertheless, in my opinion, it probably would've been better with Scruffey, Fred Pelhay, Rickety and/or some tankers among the runaway trucks. And I think the William Tell Overture would've been perfect for the runaway sequence. Because this is supposed to be constructive criticism, please don't take umbrage.
