Honestly this is one of the visually scariest Thomas fan videos I've ever seen. You seriously nailed the atmosphere of Duncan gets Spooked while also making it more cinematic. A lot of fans tend to focus too much on showing everything and making creepy faces. But by making the engine all black and features indiscernible, it leaves more up to the imagination and is just all around more creepy. Well done.
Not sure there’s a single issue I found here. The atmosphere was peak, likewise the quality, the voices weren’t bad, the thumbnail was very absorbing, each engines facial expressions and reactions were appropriate (I especially liked Rheneas’ drowsy eyes, blinking suddenly then completely opening in confusion). And of course the mysterious engines plung into the marsh. Don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone else handle that so on par with how it was shown in season 5’s Duncan gets spooked. Most just have it droning slowly off the edge into the hillside. Well done.
I love how you adapted Rusty’s Ghost Engine. My favorite scene was Rheneas’s encounter with the ghost engine, you made the engine look genuinely creepy Definitely my favorite adaptation of Old Haunts I’ve seen
I like the detail that the damaged rails could be seen before the crash. Very well done. If I had any complaints, I'd say it's too dark, but a story like this is better off too dark than too bright! Oh, and the face transitions were seemlessly done!
From 4:38-5:04 Dude that was such a good scene You effectively used the camera and music to the best of their ability to build the suspense and horror of Rheneas’ encounter
was a pleasure narrating this!! Now here are the Halloween Just The Facts lyrics: Pull up four with the four four Run around with the four with the four four four with the
That was one spooky story. Rheneas telling the tale of how he too saw the ghost engine was intriguing. What a scene that was to happen on the old iron bridge.
An amazing version of this story. And I will say, I was fully bracing myself for a jumpscare face reveal of the ghost engine at many points throughout the video. I'm glad, yet also disappointed, that I was wrong
This was absolutely incredible! Although I do have one question, how did you get the engine to roll and off the bridge like that? Was it green-screened in or is it a specific function of the model?
I love the fact that this adaptation of the story relies less on the narratation of the story, and more on the actions and thought processes of the characters. For example, the original said "suddenly, it suddenly started puffing straight towards me", while in this one there's no need for that, as the ghost engine does so suddenly accompanied with dramatic camera angles, music and lack of narration and visual detail on the apparition. I just wish more rws/ttte fan adaptations did this, instead of relying too much on the narrator talking us through everything.
I’ve always wondered the origins of the engine. But I’ve just come to the conclusion that it’s something that never really will be explained. Skarloey & Rheneas never talk of it, Rusty doesn’t know of its life, and Duncan is the only one we concretely know saw it. So I’ve just begun labeling it a Wanderer, some spectre that warns others of faults in the rails where it’s particularly deadly. Not always there, but when it’s needed most.
Nice addition to the story, it looked like it was a canon work. Only quibble? The side of the moon that you can see is the FAR side, the side we can't see on Earth! Or was that intentional because it's Halloween?
I wish there's a story of that engine I wonder what's his back story and who is his real name and is he an engine who arrived before skarloey and rheneas
Jimmy, will you F*** off already? How many times do I to tell you to stop typing shit over and over again, but you brushed off my advice so you continue typing shit again, you F***ING prick!
You managed to turn a pretty mundane ghost story, into a show so well directed, that it actually freaked me out. Hats off to you, good sir.
That ghost engine is a protector. Whenever the rails are damaged on that bridge, it warns others not to cross it.
WOW! You got the engine to roll! Thats the first time ive seen anyone pull that off in trains, well done!
It looked so much the shot from the show when the engine that'd become the ghost fell off the bridge. Very well done!
I want to know the secert
Amen, that was just incredible.
@@zafool4997 Maybe it was edited and transitioned to make it look like it rolled over

Well done. This has to be one of the best adaptations of this story. Keep up the good work

0:23 "And refused to open his eyes he did though, when he knew his driver wasn't looking just to make sure he was still there."
That shot with the ghost engine reflecting in Rheneas’ eye was amazing! Great work.
THAT WAS GLENNOCK
AND ITS JUST LIKE RUSTY said. “When the moon is full you can glennock but he never reaches the other side.”
that was genially creepy. I love the shot of it coking from rehnies eye and that we never get a good look at its face
I like the detail that the damaged rails could be seen before the crash.

I like how the intro and outro are all a reference to supernatural hell even the font style is the same they used in the show.
I noticed that too lol.

Stunning visuals & cinematography! One of the best Old Haunts Remakes I’ve seen!
Your's andBrokenWall's version of this story has made it my favorite ttte ghost story ever!
Cheers, and keep up the good work!
This was excellent bro loved the visuals you put into this looking forward more from you in the future 🔥🔥
Bro. The cinematography in this one was amazing. Nice job.
This was incredible, I love the story of the ghost engine
Was that a Dolly Zoom at 5:03? Interesting bit of editing there.
Very well made. Old Haunts is a favorite of mine.
That’s really good!
The way it rolled was amazing!
This has to be the best Old Haunts adaptation I have ever seen!
6:53 my goofy ass immediately felt like I just finished watching an episode of Supernatural 😂😂 iykyk😂
This is simply incredible
4:19 sounds like inyos whistle
Love this
No spooky face in the engine, no jump scare, just a horror story that makes you feel uneasy
11/10 Will watch again
Love the use of the Supernatural into and outro fits really well with the spooky theme
Great job! One of the best adaptations I've ever seen
Love the voice for Rheneas
What a visually stunning production!
Great work here!!
Never thought I'd be freaked out seeing skarloey as a silhouette
Technically, that is the narrow gauge ghost locomotive who is based on the Tallynn railway's Tallynn, Skarloey's real life basis.
This cinematography is outstanding
I appreciate the supernatural fan service.
The bridge scene was really tense. Really good for watching with the lights off. Good show.
Great video. Love the Supernatural reference by the way 😉
1:36 Duncan: Oh, Fievel my dear mouse. I’m okay.
THIS VIDEO IS AMAZING
Nice sir Handel cameo

that fall. omg.
I like the use of the supernatural music
Happy (late) Halloween!
How did you make the nighttime lighting at the sheds scene and where did you get the black Skarloey from?
5:13 what kind of whistle did you use for the Ghost Engine?
very cool video' where could you download these engines for TRS?
Supernatural intro was a nice touch.

4:53 what was the music or sound effect used here?
0:33 ah, I see we doing supernatural now.
So THAT'S how he fell.
Nice addition to the story, it looked like it was a canon work.
Only quibble? The side of the moon that you can see is the FAR side, the side we can't see on Earth! Or was that intentional because it's Halloween?
Ah, Glennock's ghost.
The ghost engines whistle almost sounds like the whistle of inyo or york
At least it's a nice ghost
What is the name of the sound effect at 4:54?
perfect
I feel like the video should’ve showed the engines face when Rhenees encountered it
HOLY SHIT. SUPERNATURAL MENTIONED!!! 0:31
nice one
(0:31) ah supernatural intro nice
wait is the intro inspired from supernatural
5:00. Broken track. I bet that’s why Rusty’s Ghost Engine fell off Old Iron Bridge.
The echo seems like Turkish horror movies
0:08. Duncan Gets Spooked
I wish there's a story of that engine I wonder what's his back story and who is his real name and is he an engine who arrived before skarloey and rheneas
The ghost engine looks like skarloe
ver gud
can i have the nitrous today
The narrator sounds like Trampy 😂
Supernatural end credits?
Almost does
Supernatural reference 🤨
GLENNOCK
Where's that engine model from?
It's probably a reskin of skarloy
