#81 Rob's Hampshire Pub Walks Catherington Lith & Clanfield Observatory

One of my Hampshire walks in the beautiful South Downs National Park. Enjoy the pretty village of Catherington with it's nature reserves and ancient farming landscapes and then visit the largest amateur astronomical observatory in Great Britain run by the Hampshire Astronomical Society.
The walk starts and finishes at The Farmer Inn, Catherington, PO8 0TD. 6.5 miles approx.

If you google Hampshire Astronomical Society you can visit their observatory on open evenings. I think they have several a year.
