Hello, with which of the 2 wheels I have the best performance, both wheels have the same average

Does anyone know what alloy the turbine wheels are made of?
I am assuming it’s some type of inconel.

These are impeller wheel , which is in front of the engine to take in air. The turbine does the opposite , it ecpells hot gasses

My question is: why do the gasses need to make a 90° turn in all turbos? Why isn’t a squirrel cage design used? Wouldn’t a 90° turn on the hot side conduct more heat?

These are the turbine wheels, the hot side. They have an inducer and exducer diameter just like the compressor wheel. Blade geometry and count is quite different for a compressor wheel.
