thanks immensely for answering my question! (why no round shaders) Hearing Grime talk about the ambiguity in each needle's purpose gives me a better picture of what ya'll are going for. What I'm hearing is that the needles are less tailored toward specific scenarios (lining, shading, etc.) and more towards certain attributes/characteristics to give them certain strengths that the artist can decide what to do with themselves. While I feel like this could be confusing initially (I will admit) I can see how that philosophy should lead to a better product. A tool's master is intent. Thanks ya'll - cheers!
Hollows are the best imo. Less trauma and way crisper bold lines in comparison to a round shader/ straight grouping/popping a grouping with a lighter. Have tatts I’ve used hollow 10/12s on that have virtually no spread years down the line
