Hey love your vibe!!!!!! Here's a band for you to check out. Eleine......the song called we are legion. They have a very strong message and I think you'll enjoy them . Keep rocking!!!!!! Your awesome 🤘😎🤘
You need to review Ren, Hi Ren. A song written about himself. Goes from the dark to the light. And the battle of that angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other. Boy I know. So glad its been awhile since my inner dark voice has come out. Ren was misdiagnosed. But he had lyme disease. Which caused phychosis. What a brilliant muscician. Willing to really put himself out there. A mental health Anthem. Hope all is well. Be strong. We bend , we dont break. As we were ment to be tested.
@osspaljeni Actually, the vast majority of my videos aren't monetized. I do it to raise awareness. If you look around the comments at the people who credit this channel for saving their life, you'll see it's effective ☺
"It's not that I don't feel the pain; it's just I'm not afraid of hurting anymore..." - god THAT line right there. That cuts deep. I felt that one. Not to sound like I'm using too much slang from the young ones but anyway. Hayley Williams is such a gem.
Paramore got me thorough some of the most mentally challenging times of my life and quite literally carried me through college. I found out I was pregnant at 17 during my second year of college and everything changed for me in the biggest way possible the line “if i let go of control” always gets me because I let go and yeah I’m still scared sometimes and things still hurt but like Hayley said I’m not afraid of hurting anymore
This is my favorite Paramore album, I can't help but listen to the whole album through. Their first few albums were pop punk and wanted to go kind of hard, which I think they themselves regard as just a phase, but this was kind of the transition point to softer music.
I've started a new job a few weeks ago after months of being unemployed partly because of depression, and everyday before start work, I listen to this song, this exact video, to lift myself up for the day's work. The line "It's just a spark, but it's enough to keep me going" is what I hang on to everyday. Hopefully that spark doesn't extinguish...
I got one for you to listen to and watch the video....R.E.M. - Everybody Hurts......trust me when i say you will carry this song with you for the rest of your life
Please react to anything by Icon for Hire.. they sing all about mental illness and the lead singer is such a cool rock chick. A good place to start is Enrmies, Get Well 2, hollow, supposed to be, Demons, Gatekeepers, the whole Emorpheous album is fire all her songs tough on addiction, self harm, depression, anxiety etc. Many of which she's been through.
Hello, I hope you're safe over there? I hope this year brings happiness, prosperity, and love all over the world, I would love 💚us to be good friends in honesty and in trust if you don't mind. I'm Doctor Christopher Johnson from San Francisco, California, where are you from if I may ask?
Don't know if its the sort of thing you want to react to on your channel but Ren just released a new song called: Suicide. Its pretty hard hitting towards the end. Oh and thanks for sorting that issue with the mic that I mentioned about a little while ago. Keep up the great reactions and your work for mental health. 💪
Ive been listening to classically trained vocal coaches reacting to metal singers alot over the last week. Somehow, your vid for "fade to black" came up. Im a 48 year old male metalhead and i suffer from SchizoAffective Disorder, crippling social anxiety, suicidal ideations, and several other issues. Were it not for intense therapy, the numerous amount of meds available, and of course my family giving me a support of unconditional love and understanding as my moods change, i would have been dead years ago. Its sad that until recently, mental issues requiring therapy has been a taboo for men. Far too many men do not seek help because of the stigma attatched to it by our ancestors. I heard "suck it up" ALL THE TIME when i was a kid. I believe that losing a lot of famous people (especially robin williams) to severe depression, whether chemical or situational, in recent years has brought the need for people, especially men, to get over themselves about what others will think, and get help. Its better for others to think that you are weak than for them to think of you as gone. DONT WAIT..GET HELP NOW.
I love this! I was wondering, if it's possible, PLEASE do Citizen Soldier's recent song "Reason to Live". If you thought Would Anyone Care was great, you're gonna love this one
On the mental health theme you should check out Sam Fender. He's an English singer/songwriter who is very open with his own struggles but also mental health issues amongst young men. The songs Dead Boys and The Dying Light in particular are worth checking out
@user-rj9zy9tz1w I appreciate your kindness and humanity so much, I know that we all have problems and deal with a lot of pain every day, so if you need to talk to someone, I am here. 🙏🏼😊
If you're not familiar with Icon for Hire, you should check them out. I'd recommend "Hollow" or "Under the Knife" for a first listen. They do a lot that deals with mental health, and their early music has a sound similar to early-Paramore.
What a beautiful touching song. I’m still fighting like hell. Been a really hard past few days. Not gonna lose hope tho. Please check out Animal I have become by Three Days Grace!
Just found your channel and its so cool and unique. Im going to share my story and if someone reads it and it helps then all good. A few years ago i had accepted id lost my battle and decided that night that i would end the story, i noticed by random chance one of my favourite bands were releasing a new song, the band was 30 seconds to mars and the song ended up being "closer to the edge" the middle or "break down" in the song has a very meaningful message that goes "no no no, i will never forget, no no, i will never regret, no no, i will live my life"... I was so shocked that i pinned my life on this moment and that was the song i got. Id love to see hou react to this song, especially if you do not know it. Keep up the good fight, lets make a family here.
@@MentalAmanda so am i. Not 6 years after i now have two wonderful children with a new partner the partner at the time was no help to me. I was going to touch on that line and got distracted and forgot!
I love this line, everytime i'm listening to this song i repeat this line a lot of times

AMANDA!!!
Please watch Ren's latest message with someone you trust.
This one will leave you raw.
His song, "Suicide" is extremely triggering.
This was so fun to watch live I was there. This song has huge personal meaning to me. I have the main lyrics tattooed on both forearms.
If you haven't heard it. Check out "Never to late" by Three Days Grace
