I agree about it being best in scale. The review is a bit rushed.

A String Bag, could you use a black wash over the Camo to get the thin black paint effect or mix the paint with a varnish?

All great ideas. By the time I get around to building it, I may have an airbrush. If not, I will use a few layers of black paint until I get the result. Or just build it as before the mission or the Hong Kong example
