I’ve been a fan of this band for 11 years. Their live shows are a blast. Paul is an amazing front man. I met him in person once and he was super nice and funny. What used to be a band of four, became a band of one. So how does one keep a band going by oneself...’here, hold my beer’. Paul Meaney is the creative force behind Mutemath. When some of the band members left over time, for personal reasons, creative differences, or whatever, Paul was left to go it alone. Until he takes it on the road, and gathers a new band of musicians, he is playing all parts, himself. I chose this song so you could see how he does it. The song ‘Sooner Or Later’ is my favorite on his new EP but it is only available as audio at this time. What makes this band most special to me, is that this is one of me and my son’s favorite bands. We’ve seen them together at least five times. Music has been a very strong bond for us. Good times with my boy!
I'm jealous that you've been to their live shows I have issues with crowds so I have unfortunately not been able to attend a lot of my favorite bands concerts but they are in my top five of all time
Mutemath is my favorite band of all time. Paul Meany is an amazing musician and person. I highly recommend checking out more of their music. Thank you for checking this video out and sharing your reaction
I've been a fan of him since I was a kid, I was listening to his first christian band Earthsuit all day long, followed him since. He's a musical genius!
On a personal note I would be more than happy to have some prayers right now. I'm not even a Christian but I need as much positivity in the universe as possible.
MuteMath is a very well known band, for the most part. Those who know them, know them... (what?) The whole band creates such dynamic and unique sounds that come together so well. I am so happy Mrs. Pepper suggested this to you. If you have a chance, and like this style of MuteMath, check out the "Changes" album. Will knock your socks off. But then go listen to the entire collection. You will never have to change your playlist again.
I've watched this video a dozen times so I think I'm going to put my entire studio on Craigslist now period LOL between him and fkj it just makes me feel like I've got no room in the game compared to monsters like this
Holly West I love that whole EP! Sooner or Later is probably my favorite!. I love that I found another Mutemath fan. Most people have never heard of them.
When I saw this I KNEW you were the one that requested it. I love Mutemath 💕. More people need to know about them. I am a drummer so they are dope in my book. I miss Darren King though!

This was super cool... so retro & yet not really. Early 80’s r&b / jazz vibe, loved it!
