  • Join Patricia Nikole , Wella Professionals Global Brand Ambassador, and learn how to create beautifully blended cream blonde look using Blondor Freelights and toning with Koleston Perfect. Patricia will do an open-air process that will give bright beautiful results. She will share some useful hints and tips on how to master the perfect blend. Check out the full formulas and step by step instructions below:
    Formula:
    Lightener: 30g Blondor Freelights + 45g 6% Freelights developer.
    Toner: Koleston Perfect 30g 10/96+ 60g 1.9% Welloxon Perfect.
    STEP 1: Section the hair in three horizontal sections.
    STEP 2: Slightly surface tease to create a diffuse blend.
    STEP 3: Whilst creating tension with one hand, surface paint towards the root and run the lightener through the ends.
    STEP 4: After development, time rinse and remove using ColorMotion +
    STEP 5: Tone the hair. Use EIMI Perfect Me for natural smoothness. Comb through for even distribution.

    Nice method but looks like a regrowth to me after.
    Would prefer some foiliage combined with that technique

    Hmm..not sure I can see any difference......its still just looks like a faded colour to me...I think most of my clients would come back for extra toning....

    Nice technique really quick once your careful painting. I would have been worried using permanent for toning even with pastel incase it lifted the base? How long did u leave on? 10 min? BEAUTIFUL

      Hairdressers who works with wella do that all the time, they use koleston or color touch to tone

      İ actually did this at home the exact formula that she used to tone and it lifted my base! İ dont understand why cause i thought 1.9 % was not strong enough to lift!

      @saka3960 it's called a hot root and can happen even if it's only 1.9%. Some clients have alot of head on their heads. You could use a semi base same as her natural on the roots and melt it into the lighter shade as u h the lightened areas. Use your hand or brush to melt 1 into the other. Hope this helps.
