my dad used to sing "You are my sunshine" to me when I was a little girl..... I sang it to my son when he was little .... recently he gave me a mother's day gift of a little music box that plays that song..... I love that song.... thanks so much for playing it today!
My dad passed away in 2019, I have his music collection and among hundreds of CD's he has many BOOGIE WOGGIE CD's..... and a lot of the songs you are playing here. I listen to them often and I can hear him singing them to me... I sure do miss him, thanks for bringing back some great songs and memories! I could listen to you for hours... you brighten my day! I wish I could play the piano... I don't even have one.... perhaps the opportunity will present itself to me some day.... learning how to play the piano is on my bucket list... maybe some day!
