My understanding is that the Christian version of Heaven and Hell are influenced by something written by the Greeks.

@@HalfEye79 I had this same discussion with a guy yesterday. I'm not going to argue the point with you but only suggest that you google "is iron maiden hoax" or something similar. It will only take you a couple minutes. I am over 50 years old and always thought the iron maiden was real but apparently some things have been revealed about the way museums presented the evidence for that particular device.

Correction to the preecher. That was not an Iron Maiden he was describing but a brazen bull or bronze bull. A bronze statue made to cook the condemned alive by lighting a fire underneath and throwing the convicted inside. It was designed by a sculpter(don’t remember names) so that their screams of agony would sound like a bull grunting and snarling. Their bodies rocking back and fourth while burning in agony would shake the bull also, giving the effect of the statue coming to life as the poor soul inside underwent one of the worst deaths imaginable.

Other countries such as Sweden, and much of Europe are WAY more atheistic. 1. I am indeed an atheist and have been one since my mid teens. All that that tells you about me is that I do not believe that any god or gods exist because I have not been presented with what I regard as sufficient evidence for any of them.

Atheism is mainly from the west, and west is rich, so people prefer to worship Money, and money produce a materialistic societies... Plus we westerns are very arrogants trhgout God, but we are the worst humans, we created so many wars, so much dengerous tecnology, imperialism and so on. So we think to be at the place of God, that why we do not him... Plus most of those people are youths and youths tend to be Godless and Souless, and they do not care that according to that idea system it makes you not have objective morality, they do not know where they morals come from (because they do not know where their morals come from, right??), plus the Atheism makes you believe you will be nothing once death, but you do not think about that when you are young and strong, but much you get older and closer to the death you become more religious because God and the idea of an Afterlife is the only thing make you go ehaed... That why the West is so fucked up. Follow the money and bad church decision... May God Bless you ☺️
