I started TH-cam just as DJI action 2 was released. I never had a GoPro. The magnetic connection and light weight is what made me start with DJI. Now, I got the DJI 4, DJI Mic, DJI Drone. They are deep in my pocket. 🤣🤣
Thought they only had drones at first so never looked at the action cameras. I was surprised at the light weight and some the features of the DJI. Happy so far to make it my main camera. Thanks for watching and commenting!
welcome to the dji camera family...been using dji action cams since the first action. They do a great job and quite sure you'll be happy with the camera for sure. You can also change out the lens cover as well on the dji very easily. Also if you decide to get new wireless mics the action5pro will connect up with the dji mics easily not sure about the rhode mics though. I know I have yet to have any of my dji cameras overheat even in 100+ degrees in the sun riding to and from Sturgis with no issues with the action 3. I love the new magnet mounting with the camera and case so I can even set the camera up on a street sign or somewhere to record some footage riding by without having a second person with me. If you haven't done so yet the low light recording is way better with the DJI cameras as well. have fun with the new camera and hope to meet ya at a rally sometime..take care and stay safe out there.

I love the way the DJI disconnect from the bottom and you can switch it to the side for a short. I’m using 2 GoPro Hero 9’s and I’m not having any issues. I love how fast the DJI I comes on as well. Now you going to make me look into that camera and I need a drone lol 😂

I got lucky after I decided to stop buying cheap action cameras, and started looking at something that was real good, I will admit GoPro was my first choice since everyone else was using them until I saw a vid comparing the DJI action cams to GoPros. I went with the DJI action 3 and have been pretty happy with them since then, I think you’re going to be pretty happy with the Action 5 👍🏽
Oh, be sure to keep "Enhanced video" on in the menu. I mistakenly turned it off one day when I was wearing thicker gloves and I think that caused me to have footage that was unusable due to it lagging.
I was looking to upgrade and thought I would give DJI a shot. Glad I did, a comparison video will be coming soon on some of the features I care about between the two cameras. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@ by the time I got my action 3, 4 was on the way out and then 5, they upgrade faster than I can make money LOL
I think you'll love the Dji. I've never had my action 3 to shut down or stop recording. That battery case is convenient to carry on your rides too.

@bigherk80 I still think I'll get an Insta 360 before our June ride (or hope to anyways) so I can get some different shots, especially in the Vette.
