Clearly, the DJI Action 5 Pro is better in low light (same as Action 4)...surprised GoPro didn't improve on this as seems a lot of folks really like the better lower light of the DJI Action camera's. GP13 is already 50 bucks more expensive than the AP5 (not to mention the older AP4 and Insta360 AcePro) with a larger sensor to have a superb low light performance. GoPro cannot compete with the price if they put in a larger sensor for low light performance and they also need to put into account that the investment in R&D to make that change, that may end up that the price of the final product will be insanely costly.
I have a Dji action 4 and I was about to upgrade to action 5pro but after looking at this video I think other then battery life and little added features it’s almost the same .Thanks for this amazing in depth comparison 🙌🙌
Thanks for your feedback. I do think the extra dynamic range and improved low light filming is worth the upgrade if those things matter to you. But the Action 4 is still a solid camera too. It just depends what you need.
Made my decision and I will move from my GoPro 10 to the Osmo Action 5. GoPro left me in the lurch with screen freezing, overheating and just randomly turning off when its too cold. Also the low light performance and battery life from DJI is much better, colours look more realistic. Goodbye GoPro, I will move on.
I stopped buying GoPro years ago as I lost so much footage due to freezing up. (And yes I was using the correct SD card). Have never had that issue with DJI. When you think about it, GoPro only has 1 type of product to focus on, so they should be head and shoulders above DJI but just can’t seem to do that. I’ll stick with my DJI products for now. Thanks for the great comparison review.
i've love the 13 so far , but seeing this makes me want to check out the action 5 camera as well. the new len's are pretty great , the low light shooting with the action 5 makes it feel like a great night time camera.
GoPro are a small business with limited money for R&D and look for maximum profit and minimum outlay on every GoPro they release. DJI on the other hand don’t have that limitation That makes for substandard products that overheat and perform poorly on a regular basis. Spec wise they look better than DJI’s equivalent products but actual real life performance in use leaves the GoPro seriously lagging behind.
GoPro looks better because it has boosted colors and it is more warm tone than neutral that the DJI is. Look at 1:25, the sky in GoPro is white in the right side, DJI can show the clouds. DJI is more true to life colors and you can easily get the look of GoPro if you wanted if you turned the footage more warm tone. The thing that DJI messed is that even though they have bigger resolution, they do not have 5k, 5.3k or even 6k that they could. And also the 360 horizon lock is on 2,7k only which sucks.
Amazing video, thank you so much. I really like the colours on land from the Go Pro13 , however I would buy mostly for Scuba Diving which seems the DJI Osmo 5 is much better, what do think would be best for diving? Thanks heaps
Either one will work great for scuba and both have a dive case to go to 196' deep, but depending on your underwater lighting, the Action 5 will probably perform better. Plus, the added battery life helps!
I'm so happy to hear that I helped. Once the Action 5 arrives, be sure to check out my beginner's guide to learn the ins and outs. Haha yes I try to avoid mid-video haircuts, but it happened!
Even though Gopro colors pop way more, I feel like I actually prefer the Action 5. It’s closer to real life colors wheres the GoPro seems to be oversaturated out of the box. They both look great, but I prefer to have a more realistic color grade to edit than an oversaturated one. I also like that the action 5 is overall a little cooler color temperature. Gopro seems a little over-warmed. Plus the night capabilities… I think I’m going with the Action.
DJI almost reaching GoPro's quality. GoPro for sure has the better video footage. But rest everything is so much better on DJI be it battery life, screen quality, overheating, handling mounts, low light. I think the next iteration of osmo action will destroy GoPro. May be I will buy osmo action 6 or 7.
I was impressed by how close they were but was also expecting that the Action 5 would match or surpass the Hero 13's color straight out of the camera. Of course, many of the other Action 5 qualities outweigh it, so it is a hard call. That's why I think it really comes down to how you will be using it.
honestly i think they are both great , you can go either way or even just get both. the fact that you can make high quality videos on "action" cameras that look like that is just crazy. i say "action" because people could use them for more then just action cams but vlogging , or just main shooting cameras.
I agree completely. We've come a long way with the camera technology and are so lucky to have this available to us. When I used to shoot film (aging myself here🤣) in big water housings, I never imagined this is where we would be. But, I'm grateful we are!
I've never tested it in temperatures that cold, but it's tested to perform well at up to -20 degrees C. I haven't heard any complaints about it not living up to it's tested temperature.
What about live preview in the iPhone app while recording? Single most important feature for me as I use the go pro with a DIY cable and pole underwater which allows me to be on a dock and filming underwater without losing the WiFi connection. I know what I’m recording and through that live preview on my phone. GoPro lost this ability for a while and then brought it back in the hero 12. Wondering if DJI can do this. Assuming the feature is retained in the hero 13?
GoPro hero 13 looks great out of the box. Reminds me of my iPhone camera vs my Samsung S24 ultra. No tinkering needed… just looks good! However… a BIG however… dynamic range is important. And the Action 5 pro blows the Hero 13 out of the water. With that said… you can dial in identical colors as the Hero 13 when shooting 10bit. And you’re left a clip that is unbelievably better in every aspect. For example: The Hero 13 (even with its highlights clipping) looks great. You can throw a video with a bunch of clips from it and impress your friends and or clients. If you’re like me and you use the latest DJI drone, a Blackmagic pocket full frame, Fuji XH2S paired with the Blackmagic assist and shooting braw files… the Hero 13 stands out… and not in a good way. It’s like watching an and everything looks professional and then it switches over to a VHS camcorder. Especially if you’re doing some deep grading. While the tones look great on the Hero 13, there’s hardly any wiggle room for post before the image falls apart. And because the dynamic range isn’t that great… those highlights clipping are the first thing you’ll notice. However.. the Action 5 clips blend in so well that I often forget some clips are shot on that vs something I shot on one of my cinema cameras with a wide lens. If you mostly action stuff, skateboard, surf, bike and just need something to put a video together… you won’t go wrong with the Hero 13. If you owned older models and you have all the accessories… trust me you won’t have remorse buying the 13! But if you’re here because you want a crash cam, a small camera for tight spots, something to do inside shots with to pair with professional cameras for short films, weddings and commercials. Trust me! No matter how big of a fan boy you are of the Hero 13… get the action cam or you will pull your hair out trying to get the footage to match and when you finally do you’ll be left with blown out highlights and a very muddy shot. Trust me on this! The hero 13 is amazing (out of the box) you can’t push it in post. But 90% won’t want or need to. But many of you will buy this and begging us in color correction forums, Reddit and discord how to grade hero 13 footage. You can’t lol.
Thank you for your experienced opinion and detailed rundown. I agree that for more advanced filmmakers, the Action 5 has more potential like you said. Most people starting out, or even semi-experienced, won't be able to achieve the full potential of what the Action 5 could produce. For those people, either of these action cams will satisfy their needs. Thanks again for putting so much time and energy into to this comment to share your experiences!
@@JordanHetrick I definitely agree! I love both and they both def have their purpose. But if you’re filming mostly action.. either will perform perfectly. However if you don’t like editing I think the go pro and all its accessories have the leg up seeing the footage looks great right out of the camera. :) cheers!
@JordanHetrick thanks for the great comparison. Want to know your thoughts on the on-going concerns regarding the massive drop in the Bitrate of Action 5 Pro as compared to the Action 4? At 4k 4:3 30pfs => Action 5 Pro: 60Mbits/s whereas Action 4: 130Mbits/s And DJI says its for file size optimisation and better battery life, but why is it done at the cost of video quality? Also, I don't think there will be a firmware upgrade for the bitrate.
Thanks for writing! I haven't had time to run and side-by-sides with the Action 4 yet. I would be curious to do that. But, from what I've seen, even though the bit rate is lower, somehow the image quality still seems to be very high quality. I didn't notice any artifacts or other issues typically seen with a low bit rate. I even filmed shots at high frame rates with lots of plain sky and water- shots where I often see artifacts with other cameras. That being said, i haven't had time to view the videos on a super large monitor, so maybe more would be noticeable in that scenario. I hope that helps!
awesome video and comparison! not sure if i missed it, but weight comparison is would be good to include as there is a huge FPV niche for people to use on their quads
Any thoughts on stills or photographs? I used to own gopros way back. Shooting timelapse and taking still from snorkling videos. After years of owning non im looking for one. Next month im hoping to snorkel again and take some startrail shots. So Im wondering about taking photos and stills. Any thoughts?
Thanks for asking! As far as stills, the Action 5 takes 40MP photos and the Hero 13 takes 27MP photos. Both look pretty good, but I really focused more on the video aspect when I was comparing. Sorry. For star trails though, the Hero 13 is the better option because the Action 5 doesn't have those night effects. I made a review specifically for underwater between the Action 4 vs the Hero 12 if you want to see more underwater comparisons, even though it's on the previous models.
@@JordanHetrick thank you. Isaw the company between 4 vs 12. Very good! I dont need the option in camera for star trails. I use other software for that. Just need to know if it can do time lapse shots at night
Thanks for the comparison Jordan. Right now I’m using GoPro Hero 12 which records stereo with internal mics which I use to record when I perform music. Does Action 5 record stereo?
Please just make a 4k camera at this price point that can zoom, and keeps the stabilization, and I'm sold. Screw every other feature, I don't care. I need that zoom!!!
@@TobiasS-w6q alright, let me put it this way.... I don't care that it's called an action cam. The little thing films in 4k 60fps! The only thing stopping it from being a "real" camera, is that you can't zoom, preventing you from using it for so many use cases. This cam already has the best stabilization in the industry. Not even $2000 camera can compete. But the only way I'm going to be able to zoom with 4k 60fps, is if i spend an additional $2000, on another camera.... which is a lot of money!! And a non gopro cam, btw, which means gopro is losing out on that money. So if gopro had the option to zoom, if they would stop focusing so much on "action", then they would have a complete product. Wish they had an option of a cam that was a little bigger, to allow for a bigger sensor and lens, for true 4k, and zooming, but it retains its still relatively small size, ruggedness, and stability. Then people could buy a single $1000 camera for all use cases, instead of $3000 on two cameras, and have to baby the more expensive one because they aren't tough, waterproof, and their stability is low qual.
Great video👍. Just one question, are low light videos important for an action cam? I can find low light videos made with an action cam in youtube mainly for product comparison and sales. Maybe, real user make low light videos preferred with a smart phone, which is better in low light than any action cam.
Hero 13 looks better, but that sensor makes it impossible to use at night. Honestly looks like both cameras are amazing and are just better at different things. I’d take the go pro, which saddens me a bit because I really love DJI
I'd say the osmo is better for cycling to capture traffic situations, longer battery life and better low light performance. The gopro 12 can't have settings profiles with the maxlens 2.0 and I'm not sure if they ever will....
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Definitely riding in low light, the Action 5 will have an advantage. By the way, the Hero 13 has setting profiles for the new Ultra Wide lens. Thanks again!
Thanks and you're welcome. I wish it was available for you now, but when it is, there will also be a paperback edition for the Action 5 Pro. I'll let you know in this comment when it's available. Thanks again!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I haven't had time to thoroughly compare the Ace Pro with the Action 5. It's always different than what I expect when I see them side by side.
Thanks the comparison. I enjoyed it immensely. Can I get and use the Go Pro App on my iPad Pro. Have you done any editing clips using Go Pro editing software. Will the Go Pro wirelessly transfer to my iPad Pro. Finally are your books available in digital format. We spend a lot of time on the road so saving weight is really important to us. Finally are your clips sponsored. I find I trust an unsponsored reviews way more than a paid review. Thanks Heaps.
You are welcome! Thank you. Yes, you can use the GoPro Quik App on an iPad. I would only recommend it for editing your single clips, and automatic edits if you want something quick on the road. For most editing, I recommend using an editor such as CapCut on a mobile device. Yes, my books are available on Amazon in Kindle format, Apple Books, and Google Play. DJI did sponsor this video to provide me with filming time before the release to share my honest comparison with you guys. However, I had full creative freedom to share my honest opinion and unedited comparisons from both cameras. Thank you for writing and happy adventures!
I can't get past the security concerns of side-loading the DJI camera app on my phone. Despite the lower performance in low-light conditions, i feel like my only option is the GoPro Hero 13.
I would go with DJI.. more innovative option. Usability is much better. Both are great. Batterylife and quick charging and low light is def. better with DJI.
I mean the GoPro did look better in the majority if clips but there was still some clips where the OA5 looked better plus the GoPro is unusable at night and has worse battery and heat management. Im leaning OA5 and they might release a update to address some of the issues i remember one of their older models got a update that made it look alot better than before.
if you can tell them to fix color accuracy like go pro to match it. By firmware update. Still go pro color is good. I watch many reviews about both camera
Not to sound harsh, but you should know better as a filmmaker/photographer that the GoPro has inaccurate color reproduction. The GoPro is so warm to the point of making cooler scenes looking washed out at times. I will say though that DJI footage does look too flat. Hopefully, they’ll be able to fix that with future updates.
Some colors on the gopro are definitely warmer a little more vibrant. But if you look at the shot at 1:26, it becomes clear it's because it actually fails to deal with the dynamic range properly. It would be useful to know if they can both be improved (the DJI to have a little more vibrancy and the gopro to not overexpose so much). But between these 2 cameras, the DJI comes out as the one you can fix in post. (without even considering low light where this is obviously not a discussion)
DJI is more neutral and true to life colors. Making it slightly more warmtone wouldn't be that hard in post, and there might even be a setting to put it in the shooting, like color balance.
Great video and I am torn because I got the 13 but I haven't opened it . I have had Gopro's since the hero 3 and was thinking of trying the action 5 but still a little scared because I know Gopros p[pretty good. I use mine for everyday use like Disneyland and other theme parks. I guess i will a chance and getting the action 5. Sorry for the long comment I am just a little nervous of trying something new.
Thanks for the comment! It's a hard decision. I think either way you go, you will be happy. Like I said in the video and I think the examples show, they are both great!
@@JordanHetrick 100% but there’s just like absolutely no denying that GoPro’s image quality and dynamic range is so much better than DJI, There catching up but there not quite there yet… DJI’s innovation is 1000% better than GoPro when it comes to Low Light, Battery Life and Overall usage of the camera but I can’t get over that tasty image quality of GoPro.. 🤤 If GoPro had the same Battery setup as DJI, God that would be so good.
Both are not worth the upgrade if you have Action 4, Insta360 Ace Pro action cams, and Pocket 3 for activities that doesnt require submerging underwater.
As a water sports influencer, there is no question that the DJI OSMO 5 delivers better in so many ways and has a great price. Been a loyal GoPro user for years and produce 1 video a week on my channel and know what I'm doing. But GoPro has been left behind.
HI Jorden, I really like your style of video making. Thank you. I just discovered you channel now and I'm subscribed. I have gopro 11. I wanted so bad to leave GOPRo. I am not a fan of the co. but a big fan of the camera since gopro hero 4. So many problems with all the gopros including my 11. The 11 I can almost live with it. Now I find out after buying the action 5 about the low bit rate that nobody *even the biggest channels like POTATO JET mentions. That is outrageous. One guy from CINED review said he was real bummed with the low bit rate and it's artifacts in many scenarios. Did you find that to be a serious negative? I am a pro video maker and use g9ii and other hi bit rate cameras. Please let me know. I am most likely going to return it. I will use it tomorrow for the first time and we'll see how things look on my 4K 10 bit monitors of 32 inch.
Thank you for the comment! Even though the bit rate is lower, I didn't notice any major artifacts in the footage. I zoomed in close to try to notice image quality issues, but the two cameras looked comparable, except for the fact that the Hero 13 has 5.3k compared to 4k. That being said, I only had limited time and am not on a huge monitor. I would be curious to hear what you find on your 32 inch monitors, especially since you are a pro too and know what you are looking at, so please let me know if you have time. Thanks again!
@@JordanHetrick I will I was out on the river today and took lots of footage but it was dark ish and cloudy with a little rain but still I'll get an idea soon. Will touch back with you. Thanks, Tom
GoPro looks better in the day. DJI looks better at low light. DJI stabilisation in slow motion almost doesn’t exist. GoPro battery doesn’t last that much At the end of the day, they’re both great cameras
Go pro 13 colors clearer than that of Action 5. But if you are into video editing you'll know that isn't a problem, it's just different tones both companies use. You can adjust the action 5 colors to look better. The action 5 will be far better quality and buy due to their heat and battery management which is always a problem for Gopro. Gopro just got a magnetic clip which DJI had years ago. It's just like IPhones getting features that android had many years ago and the fans rejoicing like it's game changing.
Thanks for your input! Yes, of course, colors and tone can be edited, like I said in the video. The Action 5 Pro performs really, really well in terms of heat and battery life!
It would be amazing if DJI enabled different color profiles. You could make a color calibration profile that resembles the gopro. However, I think gopro uses better exposure metering, and I have no idea how to chase that with the dji

GoPro are a small business with limited money for R&D and look for maximum profit and minimum outlay on every GoPro they release. DJI on the other hand don’t have that limitation
That makes for substandard products that overheat and perform poorly on a regular basis. Spec wise they look better than DJI’s equivalent products but actual real life performance in use leaves the GoPro seriously lagging behind.
So the 5 fits in the diving case of the 3 and the 4. Good thing. But is it hard to use my Garmin Fenix data to make an overlay?
Any thoughts on the hydrodynamic coating of camera lenses? I’m referring to how well they prevent water droplets from sticking during water sports.
Thanks for your feedback! Great insights 🙏🏼
Which is better for hdr10 filming underwater specifically???
Such a helpful comparison video, thank you for making it! I'm going to order the DJI. Also, you got a haircut at the end, ha!
I'm so happy to hear that I helped. Once the Action 5 arrives, be sure to check out my beginner's guide to learn the ins and outs.
Haha yes I try to avoid mid-video haircuts, but it happened!
With internal battery removed- Can you record all day with DJI using an external power? TIA
Great comparison. Not an easy choice here.
Thank you! I agree.
@@JordanHetrick 💯 agreed. Let's see if the next action fixes the camera. Then the action definitely wins.
honestly i think they are both great , you can go either way or even just get both. the fact that you can make high quality videos on "action" cameras that look like that is just crazy. i say "action" because people could use them for more then just action cams but vlogging , or just main shooting cameras.
I agree completely. We've come a long way with the camera technology and are so lucky to have this available to us. When I used to shoot film (aging myself here🤣) in big water housings, I never imagined this is where we would be. But, I'm grateful we are!
Thank you so much for the comparison!
OK, when you weren't showing the camera video. Which camera was you filming with as you were explaining the features.🤔
Any idea how these cameras work in winter conditions? When temperature goes under zero (celcius) , even 10-15C degrees. Thanks.
I've never tested it in temperatures that cold, but it's tested to perform well at up to -20 degrees C. I haven't heard any complaints about it not living up to it's tested temperature.
I use it on water sports, so your review is very helpful. How about the difference in water repellent coating?
What about live preview in the iPhone app while recording? Single most important feature for me as I use the go pro with a DIY cable and pole underwater which allows me to be on a dock and filming underwater without losing the WiFi connection. I know what I’m recording and through that live preview on my phone. GoPro lost this ability for a while and then brought it back in the hero 12. Wondering if DJI can do this. Assuming the feature is retained in the hero 13?
Sounds cool! Yes, both cameras have a live preview in their respective apps.👍
For example:
The Hero 13 (even with its highlights clipping) looks great.
:) cheers!
absolutely amazing review!
Been go pro my whole life, changing to DJI
Thanks for the comment! Enjoy your new camera. It sounds like GoPro lost another customer.
@JordanHetrick thanks for the great comparison.
Want to know your thoughts on the on-going concerns regarding the massive drop in the Bitrate of Action 5 Pro as compared to the Action 4?
At 4k 4:3 30pfs => Action 5 Pro: 60Mbits/s whereas Action 4: 130Mbits/s
And DJI says its for file size optimisation and better battery life, but why is it done at the cost of video quality?
Thanks mate, that was a very good video
awesome video and comparison! not sure if i missed it, but weight comparison is would be good to include as there is a huge FPV niche for people to use on their quads
Thanks. Great idea and sorry I missed that. The Action 5 Pro is 146g. The Hero 13 is 154g. Thanks for watching!
The colors on GoPro looks amazing. I will choose GoPro if I will have to take.
Thank you for the well balanced and comprehensive review.
You're welcome. Thank you so much for the comment!
the clouds on the GoPro look amazing! I really just wish next gen GoPros introduce bigger sensors and more features (software and hardware)
Great review supported by great footage. Thank you
Thanks for the comparison Jordan. Right now I’m using GoPro Hero 12 which records stereo with internal mics which I use to record when I perform music. Does Action 5 record stereo?
You're welcome! Yes, you can record stereo or mono audio. Plus, the Action 5 can record using two DJI Mic 2's if you ever need that.
@@JordanHetrick Thanks for confirming that and for the fast reply. Much appreciated!
I have lots of GoPro accessories now. I’ll probably stick with GoPro and get 13 Great review
Thanks for sharing!!
Please just make a 4k camera at this price point that can zoom, and keeps the stabilization, and I'm sold. Screw every other feature, I don't care. I need that zoom!!!
why would you want to zoom with an action cam
@@TobiasS-w6q i don't understand the question.
При слабом свете нужен дополнительный свет даже на полнокадровых беззеркалках с оптикой 1.8.
I'm looking for the GoPro and the insta 360 pro compared
Okay not sure which one that is.
@@JordanHetrick it was a mistype
Wow amazing footage quality gopro 13👏👏👏
Thanks!!!👍
Thank you for your hard effort to make this video. awesome video and comparison .... hats off sir
Thank you! Yes, it was lots of work, but I wanted to give you the most complete comparison I could offer.
@@JordanHetrick salute for you sir, keep doing 😘😘😘
I really want your book wish you had paperback for DJI Action 5 Pro. Appreciate the good video
Thanks and you're welcome. I wish it was available for you now, but when it is, there will also be a paperback edition for the Action 5 Pro. I'll let you know in this comment when it's available. Thanks again!
Can you do a video of the gopro Hero when it comes out?
The goprp color looks better, but I don't know... Still want the DJI.. maybe I can saturate the color in editing? Easily?
If you don't mind color grading, you can definitely make the Action 5 footage look like the GoPro shots.
Amazing video!!
Is the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro better than Insta360 Ace Pro?
Maui Island .... love it. Thanks for you video.
I would go with DJI.. more innovative option. Usability is much better. Both are great. Batterylife and quick charging and low light is def. better with DJI.
Thanks for the comment! I appreciate it!
GoPro 13
Great work, Jordan.
Thanks
Thank you 🙏
Seems like I will keep my gopro 12 and for low light I will use new Iphone 16 pro max, cos finaly 0.5x camera is 48 mpx instead of 12 mpx.
Thanks for your feedback!
This time I'm upgrading to DJI action osmo 5 because of the low light superiority vs gopro.
If you are filming a lot in low light, the Action 5 is the way to go.
New subscriber. Thank you for a non biased review FINALLY!!! Very informative!! Liked and subscribed!
Thank you for the comment and subscribing! So happy to help out 🤩
Very nice video very useful and informative ❤
Color can be edit, but the super night mode of osmo actiom 5 is clearly the big winner
Which one better?
Haha. Please watch the video. It depends on what you are filming and personal preferences which is why I made this in depth comparison video. 👍
The GoPro definitely looks better with the daytime colors. I'm wondering if DJI can fix/update that with future firmware updates.🤔
Thanks for your opinion. I hope they can and do 👍
The winner is obvious, go pro, video quality and video size are great
Such a great review, thank you. New subscriber !
What pc you use for editing your videos?
I use a 16" MacBook Pro and a 27" iMac. Thanks for asking!
Good guide about compare
I mean the GoPro did look better in the majority if clips but there was still some clips where the OA5 looked better plus the GoPro is unusable at night and has worse battery and heat management. Im leaning OA5 and they might release a update to address some of the issues i remember one of their older models got a update that made it look alot better than before.
Thanks for the feedback! There are definitely a lot of positives for the OA5.
if you can tell them to fix color accuracy like go pro to match it. By firmware update.
Still go pro color is good. I watch many reviews about both camera
Thank You
You're welcome!
Thanks for sharing your opinion!
Interesting observation. Thanks for pointing that out 👍👍
DJI is more neutral and true to life colors.
In the same boat hey
Both are not worth the upgrade if you have Action 4, Insta360 Ace Pro action cams, and Pocket 3 for activities that doesnt require submerging underwater.
great review , thanks
Does the Action 5 require Wifi, Bluetooth, and Location to be turned on in order to use the camera?
No, once you activate the camera initially, you can use it as a standalone camera.
@@JordanHetrick That's great because my Insta360 Go3 requires everything to be turned on and I hate that.
@@JordanHetrickHow about the Go Pro, does it have to have all those things on?
As a water sports influencer, there is no question that the DJI OSMO 5 delivers better in so many ways and has a great price. Been a loyal GoPro user for years and produce 1 video a week on my channel and know what I'm doing. But GoPro has been left behind.
Thanks for sharing your opinion!
Gopro13 colours look better and the upcoming anamorphic lens will be great!!!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Which one have heat most?
The GoPro definitely heats up more than the Action 5, but both get hot after a long recording time in hi res or high frame rates.
Last comment, sorry! I do like how you get internal storage on the Dji!!
Yes I like that too. It's the first full size action camera I've seen with internal storage. Great for when you forget an sd card 😝
@@JordanHetrick haha!! At least you could still get some decent footage and not spoil the day!
Thanks, Tom
still prefer action 5 but i will stick with my action 4
Plz use Celsius next time
Okay thank you for the comment 👍
Now i use GoPro 12. If i buy a battery for GoPro 13. It's okay if i put in GoPro 12 they are the same size?
Hi, The battery for the Hero 13 is a new design, so the Hero 12 batteries can not be used in the 13.
Wich one is best gopro 13 vs dji action 5 pro or insta360 acepro😢
Even though I use all 3, I'd really have to look at them all 3 side by side to give an accurate opinion. They all have their benefits!
Ive been with gopro since the beginning it gets better every year. Its an action camera not dslr people forget.
Thanks for your comment!
GoPro looks better in the day. DJI looks better at low light. DJI stabilisation in slow motion almost doesn’t exist. GoPro battery doesn’t last that much
At the end of the day, they’re both great cameras
Hey folks!
Big question...what would you choose as a first action cam between these two..? i know i know...
Cheers!
Nice vid btw ;)
Если не пользоваться дополнительными объективами, то GoPro12, та же матрица, те же характеристики, хорошая цена.
thank you share and good job👍🏼🙏🏼
Thank you and you're welcome!
Gropo hero 13 Best

Clouds look so much better on the 13. 13 wins hands down.
