Awesome looking stone! Gonna do some up for my box. Thanks Devin!
Very happy to hear it. Enjoy!
Thanks Devin another great one.
Nice! I'll make a few up and try them on the Waioeka and Tongariro Rivers in NZ. I'm always appreciative.
They work in hawkes bay mate!
Great fly and explanation. Thanks.
Happy you enjoyed it.
Very cool pattern Devin. That superglue whip finish is something switched to last year after watching you and ODTB doing it routinely. Way neater/cleaner finish than head cement.
Yes! And extremely durable, too.
Great stone - Can I ask what conditions you believe they work best in?
We fish them in everything! For me they're really exceptional in the high/colored water.
Nice pattern. What size hook did you use
It really depends on what bugs are in your local river! We fish anything from size 6-12.
What model is your vise?
It’s a Stonfo Elite
Where can I get one of those shirts your wearing?
How do you get it to ride heavy side up?
The bead and the jig hook ensure that it does!
@FullingMillTV This is nonsensical; it is a representation of an upside-down stonefly nymph? Just saying.
@@MichaelBrewick if you look at how a stonefly curls and rides in the drift, it is with the back down just like this.
@@FullingMillTV not on purpose. they make every effort to stay or get upright.check out Charlie Brooks.
