I had one of these bikes until this year. It's an amazing bike and the stock exhaust sounds really good. I had mine fitted with the Vance & Hines exhaust that Triumph offer though, and that pipe takes the stock sound and makes it even beefier and growlier. It's amazing to listen to. Sadly the bike couldn't live up to my touring dreams, because of bad luggage options, no wind protection and no cruise control. But as a joy ride motorcycle, it was sooo good.
@Philipp Flunkert I ended up getting the new Suzuki GSX S1000 GT. It has the wind protection, luggage capacity and cruise control. It was also dirt cheap compared to all other sports-touring options. It also has an insane amount of power being a 1000cc bike with 150 hp. XD
Extremely easy and predictable bike with a decent level of comfort. And also those eargasmic pops and downshifts are also a treat. Great Video as usual Schaaf!
Im looking to get a Scrambler 900 this year, cant wait to put my hands on one of these beautiful machines, and man, honestly, this sounds like any other bike with aftermarket exhausts, its amazing, BEAUTIFUL!
Schaaf, I've been watching your videos for years. I use them to meditate ;) Thank you so much for each and every video you have ever published. After being without a motorcycle for 7 years, I treated myself to a very nice, sexy and shiny, Triumph Street Twin. I removed the cat, and added after market slip-ons (and bunch of other goodies), and I would love to record the beautiful sound my baby makes, to share it with my mates around the world. Where do you mount the sound recorder, to capture the exhaust sound with such quality?
Man I don't own a motorcycle yet, but my first car is a 79 triumph tr7 so I think my first bike should be a triumph as well haha. I'm really digging those old Daytona 675r's, but man they make too many cool bikes to choose from. Once I get my motorcycle license, I guess it's only a matter of what I can afford haha
I bought a 2015 Street Triple 675 in March, and they're really fun! It shares engine and frame with the Daytona, but with a handlebar and less plastic. They're light, agile and pulls really well no matter the gear. Choice should probably depend on the type of riding you'll be doing 😁 I can definitely see myself having a Triumph Twin in the future as well.
@@Tiaan90 Something I keep hearing about the street or speed triple is that they just keep pulling compared to the Daytona which is more peaky. I guess it would make sense, a street bike being tuned more for torque, where a sport bike would be more tuned for horsepower. Either way, I really have my choosing cut out for me haha
@@HighTechPioneer Yeah, true. I think the difference is gear teeth count actually. Daytona gets higher top speed and more top end power. But I might be mistaken.
Looking at the title I thought you were going to talk about HJC helmets.... They are the only ones that will fit my 5XL head (yeah, no kidding. It is not as if I am blessed with a large brain) but above 40kph I cannot hear the exhaust over wind noise.😭 Excellent bike and even better video 👍👍👍
@@ccooper8785 He's likely referring to wind noise, but I have a very loud Bell Qualifier DLX Mips, and I can at least hear the bike over the wind to ~80kph 😄 As for sizing, are HJC's supposed to be that large? I have L/XL usually (L on said Bell helmet) but 2XL was fitting the best when I tried the HJC RPHA 70 😅
Hi, these onboard videos are awesome, especially of these Triumph Modern Classics. Can you please do a Raw Onboard of Triumph Bonneville T120 if there's any chance of riding one? Thank you.
I have the same tyres on my bike. After a scary incident on wet asphalt and a visit to the ditch, I have lost all confidence in them. They very bad on wet surface and lack all feedback on dry roads.
@@Schaaf Thanks. I love to watch your videos Schaaf ! Amazing quality, beautiful sceneries and so satisfying to watch. On top of that, you seem to be a really great person, calm, smart and a very good rider. Keep on & stay safe ! Greatings from France ✌
Dude, read the description of the video, it is the stock exhaust: "Listen to the stock exhaust sound of a 2022 Triumph Street Scrambler! It basically sounds perfect, doesn't it?"
Street twin (now called speed twin 900) or speed twin 1200 should be even better than this bike. Better gearing for riding hard. I both before buying the street twin, miles apart

Just got mine saturday. Man i love that sound. Such a joy to ride
I quite like those 270⁰ twins. But I also like traditional 360⁰ firing order. Glad that Kawasaki still makes w800
yea!
In that case, just buy an old Bonneville. Around mid-2000's. They were still 360°. That's cheaper than a brand new Triumph aswell 😂
@@LasseJOugaard i had one. Bonneville SE. But it was too quiet with standard exhaust pipes. New w800 sounds a lot nicer stock, i think.

Change the tires to Pirelli Rally STRs and replace the front springs to progressive type. Major difference.
Tricky to do on a bike that I borrowed for one afternoon
