I bought a 2019 model new last year and I'm at 9300 miles. Just done a service with valve adjustments etc, which was very easy. So far I've added the TEC progressive fork springs ( big improvement), upgraded the headlight to LED and some additional LED spot lights and fitted the Triumph engine bars. I replaced the OE Metzelers with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR's and love them. The angle of the speedo bugs me too, in bright light all I can see is a reflection of my white crash helmet! I like the sound of the OEM exhaust but I'm not big on noisy replacements so I'll keep them. A Denali sound bomb horn was also a useful addition. I removed the high level front mudguard it came with and replaced the original which keeps the bike much cleaner in bad weather. I made a rear carrier that replaces the next-to-useless standard item (I never carry passengers) and an auto chain oiler more or less completes the mods so far. I'm 6' 3" but don't find it cramped at all, in fact it's a very comfy bike to ride. Looking forward to the next 10k miles!👍
I had a street twin, than the opportunity came to change it for a street scrambler. Great bikes! Here in Brazil they are not common bikes so everywhere you go someone ask you something about it. So beautiful and fun! Not fast, but fast enough.
my gf has one, she burned her thighs a few times, and we wrapped the echaust, decat, and there is no issues at all since then. It's an amazing bike, and we're out every weekend, Tiger 800 and this SS900, awesome :)
That was really fun to listen to .. I have a 2017 left over that I got at a great price in 2018 .. 16K miles so far .. Dropped it in deep sand on a construction section of a farm road ..Yep snapped the gear shift shaft .. I wish the gas tank was a gallon or two bigger and yep a 6th gear for the motorways .. I consider this bike the perfect country roadster for bumpy back farm lanes and dirt roads .. I added the heated grips bigger foot pegs, center stand and a good flat track racing chain .. ALso got the leather pannier but quickly changed up to a home made wooden pannier for carrying winter and rain gear ... Thinking about Öhlins :) but havn't pulled the trigger on that one yet .. Heard of one guy in Yorkshire doing the cam .. I will check back to see that one.. Thanks again ..All the best from snowy New England USA .Yours Guy
I got the 2020 model which fixes 2 of the main issues: more power and better brakes. I'm very happy with mine - it's my 2nd bike, I have a Tracer 900 for long touring and performance, so this is a perfect add-on to the garage. I was sold on the bike when I test-rode a Street Twin (I wanted the Scrambler but they had none for testing) and experienced the grunt and sound - the seating position is much better than the Street Twin and perfect for me.
Definitely going to start off with the Street scrambler, and eventually going to upgrade to the XE at a later date, it makes me glad to know that it'll handle the kind of offroading I want to do right now, which would just be light trails and gravel roads, nothing too crazy. The XE trim will do anything you want it to offroad apparently. Thank you for your reviews man!

Nice review man. I bought with the tec cam in it so I'm mad curious to hear how it goes for you. Funnily enough, mine still has the cat which I really want to remove. Did the decat make much of a noticeable difference to you?
Oh nice! They’re the way to go for sure! The decat feels like it can breathe easier, but we’ll see with the before dyno, knowing that these are 55HP from stock. Who knows, could have done it worse haha

You mentioned the seat height change for newer models. All the specs say the same thing 790mm seat height. Am i missing something? I am in the market to buy a bike and need to know which year is the tallest seat height
Hi and thank you for your wonderful videos. I just wanted to ask you a question. Can you give me your opinion about the heat coming from the muffler which is close to the right leg?
Love the vid’…have pretty much the same bike even got the TEC cam. The thing I noticed was that you can leave it in 3rd gear even in the really tight corners. What was the brand of headlight you said you installed?
I’ve heard this! I’m not too sure though. All I can recommend is to take it to a triumph dealer as V&H are partnered with Triumph. If I hear anything more about it though I’ll let you know 👊
Thanks for sharing such detailed reviews, I have a question: mine was 2023 version scrambler 900, and I noticed obvious stronger vibrations when rpm is over 4000, wanna know if this is same to all ?
This or Honda Rebel 500 for my first bike? (or something else)? My budget is around 10.000 euros. Mostly going to use for commuting purposes and weekend camping...
Love the video and you were the reason why I bought my 2019 Street Scrambler! I want that skid plate, I haven’t been able to find a person to do a custom job for me, any help would be appreciated!
I like the look of the raised front fender. When you raised it did you leave the fork brace, that sits under the original fender, in place? If not, did you notice a degradation in handling after you removed it?

Quick question, do you have a video about the TEC camshaft upgrade? How was the performance difference?
Thanks!
What would you choose from
Ducati scrambler icon vs Triumph scrambler 900 ? and why ?
great video .
Thank you.
Hi there ,from here in the England 🏴..
Great review after 3 years on.😀
Looking at buying one but need to know the light you have what’s the brand if can please let me now..
Have a nice day
Great video! I'm getting a 2018 next week. Can't wait!
Congrats mate! You’ll dig my next vid. 5 Street Scrambler hacks - perfect for you!
Great review. Loved the music ending!
I was hoping someone would notice haha. Thanks for sticking around till the end!
Hi Man thats much more what I expected thanks for really nice footages and hole video ✌🏻 hi from Turkiye 🇹🇷
Pleasure man! I hope it helped 👊
@@MotoFeelz U are the one on Utube with this sincerity and yeah I'm waiting for test ride calling back.. max speed I should see
I've had my Street Scrambler for at bit over a week now and I'm loving it.
Glad to hear it bro!
I'm sorry, who in the hell is buying the 1200 because the naked 900 doing 80mph highway isn't wrecking you with wind hard enough?
you mentioned the exhaust heat shields werent hot, i assume i could ride in shorts then? im living in asia and we have hot tropical weather all year round and riders often are in shorts
You could yea, although I’m against riding in shorts for safety reasons. You won’t burn your leg though 👌
@@MotoFeelz agreed regarding the safety aspect, thanks for the info man!
Pleasure bro 👊
Nice review. I’m a fellow Aussie. I’ve had my Street Scrambler for 24,000 km so far here in Thailand. Love this bike! ❤️ 🏍
Im a new rider and I got this bike (2019) to do exactly what you described at 8:40 and I love it!! I've beed thinking about modifying it a bit but they are so many options I don't know where to start!!
How goods going off road a lil!
Try saving a whole bunch of images of bikes that you dig, then look for patterns in them (maybe the color, stance, tires), then do that to your bike 🤘
@@MotoFeelz that is good advice! Thanks! In deff goint to replace the front fender for the high one, so in gonna start there!!
Great video man! What cameras are you using? Really cool shots in here
M50, 6Dii, 5Div and a RED haha oh and GoPro
@@MotoFeelz omg 😳 One day I will invest but for now I can only dream.
great review man... one question, what jacket are you wearing on the video? doesnt look like the one listed on the description..... the one listed (liberaMoto) also looks nice but they are sold out...
www.55collection.com/en/mens-leather-jackets/agudo-leather-jacket.html
There ya go. Such a dope solid jacket
Hello, thanks for this great video! Do you think it's a good bike for commuting like daily highway rides (an hour round trips). I'm just little concerned about the wind in winter, does the windshield really helps ?
Hey man great vids. I wanted to ask what flyscreen you have?
Hi there, great looking bike ! I have one too, which LED headlight brand would You recomend ?
Awesome review, so close to buying one of these now! Silly question is the exhaust stock, sounds amazing, if you updated them can you pls let me know what you got, also is the windscreen from Triumph. Thank you.
Thanks man! I have Zard slipons. The headers are custom though
@@MotoFeelz Thank you
Is there a video with that new cam shaft in?
It’s in the works
You mentioned the seat height change for newer models. All the specs say the same thing 790mm seat height.
Am i missing something? I am in the market to buy a bike and need to know which year is the tallest seat height
Nice video, for this tipe of bike, how long the life of the engine is? 100.000 km?
Hi! What brand are the black handlebars? Did you need to mod any cables or is the size the same?
I agree about the speedo, big and ugly, I'd go with the Motogadged classic. Camshaft is good idea, more power for that tiger 1050 nightmare.
Yea I do like those. I think that’s the way I’ll be going. And yes agree 💯
Hi and thank you for your wonderful videos. I just wanted to ask you a question. Can you give me your opinion about the heat coming from the muffler which is close to the right leg?
I'm 6'3 and feel fine riding mine long distances. No cramping or discomfort at all.
Hey bro what jacket are you wearing in the video? Looks cool and was wondering if it’s a true Moto jacket with protection
Do you have an update for the camshaft upgrade?
Hello, love tour bike 😅, i have one to and love it, can you tell me were to get your headlight ? Thank you very mutch for your vids
Your bike is a real beauty 😍
Thanks heaps man!
Hi
What boots you wearing? Great video 👌
New sub from spain, i want the see the dyno test broo !!!
Dyno test with new performance maybe 10 or 15 HP more?
Love the vid’…have pretty much the same bike even got the TEC cam. The thing I noticed was that you can leave it in 3rd gear even in the really tight corners. What was the brand of headlight you said you installed?
Hi feels,I lost all bottom end with Vance n Hines decat...please advise...its a pig offline
I’ve heard this! I’m not too sure though. All I can recommend is to take it to a triumph dealer as V&H are partnered with Triumph. If I hear anything more about it though I’ll let you know 👊
@@MotoFeelz thank you feels..I am going for a 46 sprocket on rear in 520 pitch.....still searching
When are you gonna post your video about the cam replacement? I'm curious how that's turned out for you.
have you uploaded the video on that engine part that make it faster?
what an awesome (looking) bike, my compliment
What jacket are you wearing, it’s really nice! Looks gorgeous!
I love this bike 🔥🔥
Hi! Great Vid and story!! What about pillion passenger. Does the exhaust heat much? Thanks
Agreed man, they are not the most powerful bikes and you get used to the power but they are F. U. N.
I love my old 07 bonnie!
So, what was the outcome of the camshaft upgrade? :)
I've used my 98.000 KM Xride and it's still good.
where's the video about the cam?
I've got a r1200gs ... Love it ... but it's cumbersome when stopping and don't really want to take it off road just nervous ... Thinking about trading for a scrambler. Thoughts?
Which leather jacket are you wearing?
www.55collection.com/en/mens-leather-jackets/brw-leather-jacket.html
👌👌👌
@@MotoFeelz Thanks! Does it have armor?
@@MotoFeelz your link doesn't work - so the brand is 55collection? (but what is the jacket's name?)
I’m really into upgrading the camshaft on my 900. Have you finally got that upgrade? Thx
Great video. Very informative.
