At $375 for a Pi, and $200 for the Nolo, it just seems to me, that for an extra $25 you could get the Rift, a proven VR setup, that's much more likely to work, and less likely to cause motion sickness.
Pi and Nolo together are $575 At the moment the Rift + Touch bundle is $400 After the summer sale Rift + Touch bundle is $500 so actually still $75 cheaper than the Pi and Nolo bundle.

Hi there. I want to know how to watch videos on my pimax 4k or even add games from the oculus store to play on it? How I can watch nany content online on my pimax as when I try to install anything I cant play on the pimax. Everything works on my Pimax as it should like the games that are on there but want to add other stuff to it. Can you make a video on how to do any of these things it would be great as there is not much content online in videos about the Pimax. Thanks and great video. Hey VR Ko, did you test PIMAX 4K 100XX or 102XXX? The 100 serial comes with 4K LCD IPS and the 102 comes with OLED 2K. ps: maybe you could do up to date review of PIMAX 4K as they released important updates solving display ghosting / drifting issues. Secondly, engineers working on compression solution to push 4K Resolution via HDMI 1.4 we hope to hear from them good news soon.
That I really want to find out if that is the case, it would change everything specially if it is much brighter and looks better. I will see if I can get my hands on it. Too bad they don't say anything about changing the hardware to 2K when its suppose to be a 4K display that eliminates SDE

ah ok, I meant that the newest version of Trinus PSVR has a nolo tickbox. If you have a psvr would be good if you could try it out with your nolo and see how well it works. Thanks!
I hate seeing how there really isn't anything remotely close to a comparable experience with the Rift and Vive. This janky nolo setup doesn't even work and has horrible design, materials and manufacturing. When similar setups do work, they lack the minimum experience requirements for VR. PSVR has the ability but is paired with such underpowered hardware and very little content, it falls flat on it's face. Lets hope microsoft can save VR with their new HMDs!
I think production costs went up too, but they didn't want to increase Kickstarter prices after the orders were already made, so they have to increase prices now.
To get pimax to work you apparently you need the 1.2.85 drivers, not 75, theres a link to them on the pimax forums at mega.nz/#!pNY2wCQC!L2luXkIIDa8aaCo4rCpJvgRRgG3mP2YVJ3f8lcPo1TA They are the same as 75 but with nolo support, although i don't have my nolo yet so can't try. The 1.2.85 driver also upgrades the firmware.

OK word at the pimax forums is that nolo relies on the gyros in the pimax for side to side movement, and therefore is not really a usable product, because you still get gyro drift, in fact most people are saying it drifts more now than without the nolo...i'll be selling mine as soon as it arrives if this is the case, combining proper tracking with gyros is a terrible idea. The main reason i bought the nolo was to remove gyro drift. UPDATE. Nolo arrived, no drift at all with the headtracking and pimax which is great, but the controllers cant keep up with fast movements, lag, and forget which way they should be orientated so playing any kind of precisision game such as the bow and arrow game in the lab is impossible. Also room needs to be calibrated everytime you load steam vr as it forgets were the floor is. Also if you close them reopen steam vr it loses the headset etc. Are your experiences similar to this? Using 1.2.91 piplay and latest firmware.

VR Kommando so 100x serial. Means 4K LCD.
O right lol didn't read that right, yeah its a fist gen so it has to be 4K, can tell from just looking at the pixels you cant see em
I think best phone for now is axon 7, because it support daydream, got 2k amoled screen and don't gyro don't drift

Fixes that tracking issue
Just tested on 2 PCs & multiple GPUs
It may fix the tracking issue but it introduces a new issue of not being able to detect the Pimax at all
