As kickass as the version from Radiation's Halloween Hack is and as iconic as Undertale's is...this one's the best. That guitar adds so much to the track that I end up missing it in the other versions.
This isn't Jack Noir's theme, nor Aradia's theme, nor Tavros's theme, nor Vriska's theme, nor dream!Nepeta's theme. This is indeed Tavros' legs' theme.
I remember hearing this version a while ago, and thinking it was really really good....and... Not so long ago, I finally started Homestuck...and it's refreshing ! I never read anything like it ! As i'm listening this version, i see everything that happened in the act one, And it only hypes me up for act two !! ^^
actually, it's more likely to be aradia's theme in my opinion the flash name (s wake) describes both vriska and aradia, since vriska wakes up from her sleep and aradia's dreamself 'wakes up' to become godtier, while jack doesn't really wake up and, along with that, parts of megalovania are used in other aradia-related tracks (can't pull the names from the top of my head but still). the electric guitar is more vriska-orientated but aradia is partial to some of that from time to time too. leitmotifs and other things related to jack don't really show up in this track, so personally i find it somewhat unlikely that it's jack's theme

to be fair, having the experience of what was the early homestuck fandom, a new reborn fandom today could be a lot better given we are able to learn from past mistakes lol
People are a lot more cynical towards rabid fandom culture nowadays after Homestuck and Undertale. It's been much more mild for the past 5 years of the community.

But I think WP was overblowing how bad the harassment really was. I don't doubt that they got harassed, but a lot of it feels like trying to deflect criticism by playing the victim. Most of the more rabid and insufferable fans are the ones *supporting* WP, not the ones supposedly harassing them.
