When Bec prototyped itself I was immediately frozen in place, and the music played a good role. I immediately knew they their "shit" was "wrecked" and it all made sense now why Karkat's blamed them for basically dooming themselves and the trolls session. And then we get redirected to a scene where Jade is seeing snow for the first time... Nothing can describe how much i love and admire Homestuck, too bad nobody in my surroundings cares about it, and I can't get them into, don't want to be too pushy since it will ruin the experience, I myself discovered it by free will, being a fan of Undertale finally decided to check on what this Homestuck thing is and why people were all like "DON'T READ IT" and Undertale community seems to like it... With a negative altitude (like if there was a 1-10 rating on how much i like HS, mine would be 9 and their, for the most part -10)

5 years late to this- almost right about the motif, but not quite. This IS where the motif first appeared in homestuck, but this isn't the origin of it. The original was the song penumbral phantasm by toby fox, but he apparently never was able to get a song he was satisfied with so the original went unused. If you look up penumbral phantasm on youtube, there should be a beta piano version of it thats uploaded. It doesn't mean we wont ever see the full song though, some are theorizing that it'll be used in deltarune, and theres a video called 'the homestuck song that doesn't exist (but might in deltarune)' that goes into it better than i can. Which is very fun to think about hehehe
