That means the Jiren hype was Toei's doing, not Toriyama's. And Toriyama only wanted Ultra Instinct as a technique, not a massive multiplier
I really enjoyed the video but the manga and anime are different continuities and it’s never directly implied that MUI goku has surpassed Beerus in the manga or Goku being 70% of Beerus power applied to the anime or manga. I also believe that it was implied that Gohan was training more after he embarrassed himself in the Frieza resurrection arc

I'd like some more slice of life episodes. Dragon Ball can be more than just fighting all the time. One reason one of my personal favorite episodes is the Driving School one. Seeing Goku and Piccolo having to learn to drive is a comedy riot. More of that would be nice to see. Like an episode where Vegeta takes Bula to school or one where Gohan becomes a teacher and has to hide he's super powerful.
Nobody cared about any of this stuff back then, that's why DBZ is more popular than OG DB, the show is popular because of the fights, not because of the boring that YOU wanna see.
To be fair with the forms, if we're gonna count ssb, ssb kaioken x20 and ssb evolution as different forms, then we kinda have to count the ss grades in the original Z as different forms too, they are just extensions and stronger forms of ssb, then if you think about it ssg is the equivalent to ss1, ssb is ss2 and ultra instinct is ss3, frieza, cell and buu had a bunch of forms, so golden frieza and black frieza are whatever tbh So if you think about it super has about the same amount of forms as Z if not a little less or a little more
There were many things that I agree and disagree with in the video. As far as Goku forgetting Pan in the manga, it was a joke in which Goku thought they were talking about bread instead of his granddaughter.
Don't think Gohan not fighting is that big an issue considering Gohan grew up with fighting being a burden to him, causing him death and pain. Although I do think he should train every now and then, I can't blame him for wanting to just live his life PS: This is just my opinion, it's okay if you don't agree
Daima looks more exciting than super to be honest the only arc i actually give a 10/10 is battle of gods and maybe broly and the some parts of the tournament of power but the rest are mid In 1 episode of dragon ball daima it made me excited again for a dragon ball story since battle of arcs

This means they'll have to do some major padding if they choose to animate it now. Additionally, anime adaptations are generally created to promote the manga, so when the anime goes on hiatus, many viewers turn to the manga for more content, indicating that the anime did its job well. Now, all that's left to do is be patient; the anime will return t's just a matter of time.
As somebody who worked on a past Z fanfic for over four years, I think the reason I think why they are afraid going past Z is because the story would have to shift the protagonism to another character and, as we know, Goku is the face of Dragon Ball, it would be too risky comercially put Uub, Goten, Trunks and/or Pan in the main role. If they stick to Goku, they would make the same mistake as GT of giving poorly written stories just for the character have a challenge and make the new generation underused characters. Still, I believe they should take this risk sooner or later if they want to keep Dragon Ball going because even in Super we are seeing poorly written arc in the last years just to keep Goku bellow the level of Beerus and keep having challenges.

Sure it would ruin the story but in my opinion, the story has already been ruined for a long time and maybe even from the beginning.
I know Dragon Ball fans are going to hate what i just said but I'll also say there are things in Dragon Ball i still like even though i also dislike it at the same time and keep coming back to it.
I'm almost like a tsundere for most things Dragon Ball but unlike a tsundere, my insults (if they can be called that) against Dragon Ball are the truth and not just a kawaii failed attempt to hide my love for the same things I hate.
It simple why they don't bring back dragon Ball. The more hungry someone get the more you will pay for it.
After z ended in the 80'S Akira wanted to let z end there but they didn't want to it.
Because they was making to much money with it. So they made gt which probably didn't make that much money.

i hate when ppl say “dragon ball has no stakes cuz everyone gets wished back at the end”
saiyan arc had no dragon balls cuz piccolo died and namek was the journey to get the dragon balls and that was no easy task cuz frieza, other ppl searching for the balls or whatever, dude this even existed in gt, so finding the dragon balls is no walk in the park
especially the super dragon balls, reminder, zamas went to zuno for the super dragon ball info, super dragon balls should honestly not exist but even with them in existence dragon still can have stakes if the story is creative enough
namek is across the universe, it took goku a long time to lock on to their energy in the cell arc, so if goku and vegeta are out then who’s just gonna teleport to namek within a year… you could use the earth dragon balls but if dende’s out or something what then ?

I agree with everything you said, but at the same time, I doubt the Dragon ball IP will ever follow the path of the manga. It seems that they are far more concerned with making dragon ball for the next generation so the dbs manga might end up like heroes where it will get scrapped. I really hate what dragon ball has become, but at least there is a blessing in the fact that dragon ball will be having its IP expanded depending on whoever wins the lawsuit.
