    One important point Sharan. When some legend like him is in front of you, its very important to let him finish and then take a pause and resume. Its the problem with intelligent people, that they listen half make it full. I also had this. But conversations with legend is always one sided. Once the flow is coming from space of sharing if interrupted they will share little. It is not important to complete all questions, even if you make in Art of negotiating people will appreciate much more. You can also make multi part podcast.

    The U.S. offers such a unique ecosystem for entrepreneurs. The venture capital scene, the tech culture, and access to resources are way better than what we see in many parts of the world, including India. Don’t you think that’s why so many founders move their businesses to the U.S.?

    • @rodgertim2881
      @rodgertim2881 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

      Absolutely. The infrastructure in the U.S. supports scaling businesses so much better. In India, while the startup scene is growing rapidly, the U.S. has years of experience, plus Silicon Valley is basically the epicenter of innovation

    • @John-vf8qe

    • @georgeearling905
      @georgeearling905 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      the regulatory environment is more conducive for large-scale innovation in the US You can get funding more easily, and there’s more focus on nurturing new ideas. In India, bureaucracy can still be a hurdle for many entrepreneurs

      @Sanchyfab 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      India definitely has its challenges, but it’s changing fast. The startup culture there is booming, and we’ve seen success stories like Flipkart and Zomato. But yeah, the U.Sstill holds an edge when it comes to certain industries, especially technology and finance

      And think about how much a financial advisor could help in these scenarios, especially after a huge windfall like $400 million! I mean, selling a business at that level would come with so many complexities taxation, reinvestment strategies, maybe even managing his legacy

    This Hotmail guy has my heart now.
    Not only did he give me my first email but his philosophies and the way he evolved in the US is just amazing. He is a true representation of the best of both worlds. Whereas sharans interaction was purely transactional,as he wanted a recipe to make more money. He could’ve asked better questions and kept this longer as an interview.

      @AloysiusHettiarachchi well both the people in this video are of Indian descent and the comparison in the mindsets of people in both countries and jobs therein are being talked about. Or you could have extrapolated my comment to assume I was asking about your country of origin, whichever it is.

      Well, I am a Sri Lankan who has been following the IT industry in Bangalore for a long time and was quite impressed with it. And I knew they would achieve a lot. Ones there was an old gentleman (from MP) who came to Sri Lanka to work in a WB project. And they gave a space for him in my section of the office. From the time he came to the office in the morning till he called it a day he was dabble with his computer. One day I decided to ask him what he was doing. He said he was developing a software program for use in road projects. And he asked me also to try. And I was somehow able to beat him using different language. So, I knew Indians would one day produce multimillionaires and I wrote an article about it in a national daily. One of our ministers picked it up and established a university for IT. Now Indians talk of trillions we too have a few who achieved billions.
      I was offered tickets to go to USA when I finished my stint in Africa with one of the richest persons in Switzerland. I declined thinking the safety of my family. Though I haven't made even a million I and my family are quite happy with what we have. Use my name to search my profile. Btw my daughter sings 'Kush na kaho' sounds like the original!.

    Love this interview. The points Sabbir touched on are spot on. Only by being secure in supporting others can we all succeed. The Indian culture needs to adopt this. Then India will be a tremendous super power. Innovation through collaboration is key. That can only happen when there is an environment that supports and encourages it. It definitely exists in the U.S. and Europe. India in my opinion can do the same. But the culture has to change first.

    29:00was such a thoughtful question and very correct. As a civilization India’s priority is security and building economically.
    US has been a democracy for a while, 1885 they had Standford built on colonial loot. We were struggling to survive in every form.
    Next decades will be of expedited progress.

      Colonial loot? Bro are you mad? US never colonized atleast at the level of europeans, you should read some history, every western country didn't did colonization 😂, also you're wrong about next decade you don't know anything coz you're living in US while we know ground reality

    • @sgirl6154
      @sgirl6154 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ who do you think lived in the US before British and Europeans that we see today???native Americans were slaughtered by British and Europeans who feared persecution and came in ships to US along with their African slaves and Indian money. Many Indians were brought in for cheap labour, we still have the reminiscence in Canada,generations of Punjabi families. America has very dark history and so does Australia, Canada and most of the colonies.
      But yeah what do I know!!!

    • @sgirl6154
      @sgirl6154 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ Yes colonial root! Book suggestion: Bury my heart ❤️ at wounded knee, Do you ever read history??? Americas belongs to Native Americans. Same British colonizers looted Americas as well and still to this day natives are fighting for their rights. These foreign settlers were brutal, committed genocide, looted villages just like they did in India. I have had the pleasure of discovering and meeting some natives. Whites came from all over their colonies, bringing slaves from Africa, looted wealth from other colonies and some came simply fearing persecution. It’s a very dark history. Maori are still fighting against these looters in New Zealand. Read something before commenting.

      @sgirl6154 that was a thing of past dude get over it and was done by britishers, I don't see any native American complaining about it but you not being one are very concerned.

    Thank you, Sir. Last year, I transformed an idea into a granted patent in India, achieving a 5-15% improvement in fuel efficiency for IC engines at a quarter of the cost of existing technology. I’ve even demonstrated the science by running a vehicle with this innovation. However, I'm still in pursuit of funding to bring this to a larger scale.
