A beautiful looking 25yr old way out of his league at that. Mind you, men are led to believe & probably biologically primed that they can get any woman & should go after younger ones. And unfortunately, there are some very greedy women with no self esteem who will basically prostitute herself to a man she’s not attracted to because of his money or the security he can provide.

He sounds incredibly pretentious. Plus, there are millions of people that have a bachelor degree and read voraciously. It's not exactly some rare combination indicative of superior levels of intelligence. Regardless of that, I find the viewing of young women as sexual objects to be purchased disgusting and believe it speaks volumes about his character. Human trafficking is a vile, despicable operation and the fact that some older men are so willing to engage in it for their own sexual gratification makes me sick. At its core, under their many layers of denial and mental gymnastics to the contrary, the belief that these young women will owe them a sexual relationship is their entire motivation. absolutely. if you seek partnership, not status or some culturally pushed porn-version of sex you will also find that someone your own age, with some life experience is the better friend, support, life partner for you (usually - if it happens differently and people really fall in love with each other - all good ofc, but that is rare and rare for a reason)

I once knew a man in his 80s. He was being scammed by two people at once. One was a small press book publisher, who was taking thousands of dollars from him to publish his terrible poetry books, but not making any real effort to sell them. The other was an art dealer who was selling him worthless prints he claimed were valuable paintings. I tried telling him he was being scammed, but he would not hear it. Some people would rather live in a fantasy world rather than admit they are being duped.

@@JaimeMesChiens well he has a Bachelor's in psych and admitted to being partially responsible for the creation of a dozen drugs now on the market. Academically, this guy is smart, but very much lacking in the common sense department.
But this guy is an exception, because his wife was probably his common sense and grounded him. Once she was gone he became lost. I mean you don't spend half your life with someone and then have them forcibly removed from your life in such a traumatic way too, and then just be normal and get on with it. A good amount of people in these stories usually just divorced or in a few cases are emotionally cheating on their partner with the scammer, and I don't really have much sympathy for those people. But this guy needs a therapist and some friends in his life, other than his cats.

I just discovered this channel today and have been binge watching these catfish videos bc it’s absolutely fascinating to me how people fall for these scams….one strange observation I keep seeing over and over again that is so bizarre is that when these people first describe their love interest for the camera, they almost always start with their height in feet and inches! If the very first thing you have to say about the person you supposedly love (enough to send all your money!) is their height…then that should be a huge red flag that something is amiss! The very last thing I care about with the man I love is how tall he is! I’ve been with my husband for 5 years and I could not tell you his exact height. When we started dating and I first described him to my friends and family….his height NEVER came up. It’s just absurd to me. If it was just this one guy…fine, but it’s in almost every one of these videos. It just show you how superficial these connections are…how can they possibly think they are in love?

That website obviously was set up specifically to separate desperate people from their money. Love scams are big business and they're getting more sophisticated it seems. Once they get a fish on the hook they're already developing the next character in the game to get more cash. It's really hard to feel bad for this guy though when he's talking about having relationships and wanting to marry two women at the same time.
They ( and others like them) should be made accountable for stating the profiles are real & verified. Otherwise it will never stop
