- In this video I'm demonstrating how I edit my Keyscape presets to achieve a warmer sound.

Lovely sound and playing. Thanks for sharing the patch . . . I have downloaded and will check it out. A warmer sound is always welcome!
Thank you! Enjoy!
@@rolandv-piano Can't figure out how to load the prt_key file into Keyscape, though . . .
@@lawrencelougheed If you’re on Mac you’ll need to find the STEM folder and then paste the preset in the user folder.
@@rolandv-piano Thanks! That worked 🙂
That was beautiful ma guy👊🏽!!!
Thanks for watching!
Great playing
Thank you!
very thanks!!
nice playing 🎹
Thanks!
the best!
Hello can you give keyscape please on windows M
Can anyone help me? I am using KeyScape library and I like it very much. When I put on headphones the sound is very nice, but when I turn on the speaker of my phone or laptop it is very bad and I have not found a solution. I want to find a solution for this problem. Please help. Thanks 🙏🏼
That is because the quality and power of those speakers (laptop / phone) is not enough. I guess it will be better with a proper amplifier.
Can this be Used in FL Studio?
It can be used in any DAW or standalone
Hold up.. why, of course. Any DAW..😊
Como puedo abrir esto con mI Daw (Pro tools) ?
I made a video about it for Windows and Mac.
I used the same setting but the sound I get is different. Any other process you used ? Thanks
I only used Ozone 11 to get it to -13 LUFS because of TH-cam but nothing special in this Ableton template. What is the MIDI controller you are using?
@@rolandv-piano when I play for each tone I also hear a high frequency noise (each time I play a tone) like fs fs fs. I tried to reduce it by changing age (tape section) and lowering high freq boost and this makes it muddy. Also needed to Eq (lower around 500 and boost around 1-2k to sound sharp) but still no there. I feel that yours is more clean and sharp and I dont hear these high freq key noises (Noise suppression is set to strong)
I used the denoise parameter. Might be your speakers\headphones that are too bright. But if you don’t use denoise it can be problematic.
@@rolandv-piano yeah I always use strong denoise. Could be my headphones …my MIDI is native - komplete 88
You’ll never get the same sound with that type of controller. I had a Jd-Xa and the sound was totally different. But this has nothing to do with sample noise.
I didn’t use other types of processing for this video.
I use the same thing, sound very bad. Do you need to master or low cut to make sound like that?
Did not doe any processing other than leveled it at -14 LUFS. It’s mostly your MIDI controller that reads the velocity differently. What keyboard/controller do you use?
You can also low cut everything at 35/30 HZ but that isn’t the issue here.
Can the sound be loaded into Nord Piano 5?
No, not enough space for this kind of libraries on keyboards.
Do you know how I can load this into keyscape? I can't find anywhere to load patches.
Yes, you need to first find the STEM folder and then the user folder to be able to paste the preset in there.
@@rolandv-piano How do I then open the patch in keyscape?
@@ProdTyBeats Above the list with sounds in Keyscape you have 3 tabs. Select the “User” tab and it should appear there.
@@rolandv-piano It's not letting me select the user tab for whatever reason
@@ProdTyBeats you have it on the wrong place then if it doesn't let u open, just copy paste the file to every folder, worked for me 😂
I downloaded to Mac but how do I open to see the curve settings
Go to the “SETTINGS” tab and then it’ll be under “VELOCITY”
@@rolandv-piano right I did that but still don't see your curve settings as a option
How can I open this on my daw? ( ableton)
Windows
You need to find the STEM folder and the user folder and paste the preset in there.

Is it possible to get this on an akai mp live 2?
You can choose a different velocity curve in Keyscape but each midi controller sounds different.
But is it possible to load keyscape onto an mpc live 2?
@markmaw8 You can use Keyscape in a DAW or stand alone. The library is 80 GB and you need a computer for that. But you can trigger the sounds with any midi controller.
@@rolandv-piano I have a 2 tb hard drive in my mpc. Space is of no issue. I wouldn't want to spend money on keyscape for it not to work thought. I haven't seen any videos on TH-cam of keyscape on mpc, I don't use daws or pc at all, tried before but I was getting latency issues constantly..
You need a good computer and a sound card that has very low latency. I use a M2 Mac and I’m upgrading now to an RME interface with almost 0 latency. But I need a keyboard because that’s how I write and play music. I think you need specific build in plugins for your Akai.
